A TV documentary that follows the work of a police force will show how the investigation into the actions of a teenage killer unfolded.

Nicholas Prosper used a shotgun to kill his mother Juliana Falcon, 48, his brother Kyle, 16, and his 13-year-old sister, Giselle, at their home in Luton on 13 September 2024.
The 19-year-old, who was arrested in the hours after the murders, was jailed for 49 years in March. A trial heard he intended to carry out a shooting at his former primary school.

The Channel Four series 24 Hours in Police Custody, which follows the work of investigators at Bedfordshire Police, will feature the case over two nights on 5 and 6 October.

Nicholas Prosper jailed for at least 49 years for Luton triple murders

After killing his family in their tower block in Luton, Nicholas Prosper planned to carry out a mass shooting at his former primary school.

I don't think it was boring

It seemed a very abrupt end to the programme. One minute the police are breaking into the flat and stopping Jasmine from getting out the window and the next minute it’s gone to court.

Yes I thought that

I was a bit confused as to what made the police suspect she was in on the plot to get the victims to the car park. I was hoping for more explanation of that. Can they not show her interview in detail because she’s been found not guilty?

@CameForAVacationStayedForTheRevolution - wasn’t it because they saw her boyfriend’s car and also from the CCTV saw she was so skinny etc that she looked like a drug addict (a great advert of how drugs can ruin looks - she was very pretty from the photos) and so they thought it might be linked to drugs. And then they saw her by the fence and it seemed she made a call and the immediately the BMW came racing and tried to knock over the 17 year old.

Her boyfriend’s interview. He identified her and told them that she’d wanted to be driven to a carpark allegedly for Dominos. She’d made a call then someone he didn’t know got in the car. He was told to drive and then the incident happened. His interview along with the cctv and presumably phone analysis of who she’d been phoning was the evidence to charge. Her interview was all ‘no comment’. Obviously the they didn’t manage to convince a jury that she knew what was going to happen. The charge was conspiracy to commit gbh. If she’d said in court that she’d made an arrangement to meet the victim to buy drugs/have sex and then they were ambushed and the jury believed her then she’d be found not guilty which she was.

See I’d be no good as a police officer. I saw all of that about her telling her boyfriend take her to the car park, etc. I just believed she was going to buy drugs and was just misfortune that she happened to be there when the others turned up/were lying in wait. Even the phone call I just assumed was a phone call about buying drugs, not setting a beating up. Didn’t cross my mind!

*aside from all that it was a pretty boring two parter as probably reflected by the lack of comments on here.

I also thought it was boring. I lost the plot completely.

I’m afraid I started marking exam papers during the second episode.
