A TV documentary that follows the work of a police force will show how the investigation into the actions of a teenage killer unfolded.

Nicholas Prosper used a shotgun to kill his mother Juliana Falcon, 48, his brother Kyle, 16, and his 13-year-old sister, Giselle, at their home in Luton on 13 September 2024.
The 19-year-old, who was arrested in the hours after the murders, was jailed for 49 years in March. A trial heard he intended to carry out a shooting at his former primary school.

The Channel Four series 24 Hours in Police Custody, which follows the work of investigators at Bedfordshire Police, will feature the case over two nights on 5 and 6 October.

It didn't show the investigation in the best light,for sure. All that painstaking sifting through everything downstairs - bags and bags of it - and the loft obviously had been left untouched. It was absolutely full of stuff, including his bloodied clothes.

Presumably, had he just chucked it in the bin - or a neighbours' - that would have been that. Didn't the police at least wonder why he was so clean?

It's a wonder he ended up being convicted at all after the first trial's non verdict.

When I watch these programs I always think what would it be like if they had to search my house, old memory sticks, hard drives, lap tops, bags of clothes ( in the loft), tools and a garage full of shite that should have gone to the tip years ago.

The person responsible for the poor search in the first place, I wonder if any action is taken against them disciplinary wise? This wasn't a tiny thing in an unimportant case.

After 5yrs since his conviction I stikl cannot believe I worked alongside JaguarPalce for 16yrs.
And I’m still utterly shocked.

It says he was working as a part time driving instructor. Were there no signs that he had another income?
