Yes, that’s right HAPPY Valley and line of duty both BBC One and both were not shown on iPlayer till they’ve been on TV. I much preferred that.

I couldn’t cope with another hour of that! Amazing TV, and almost the end of the series :-(

Such a great show, I only just discovered it and have been binging all the seasons. I’m intrigued by the blue light, and how they have a lot of blue ornaments and props. They clearly think of the visuals a lot. This shot in episode 4 really reminds me of a Manet painting, I can’t believe it’s a coincidence (or I guess it could be, but the pose, choker, neckline etc is so close). Attaching a photo.

I didn’t spot the blue despite having watched all 3 series twice now 🙈

I did notice the blue eyed people in it seem to have their eyes lit up!

Once you’ve noticed the blue you can’t not see it!

This is an amazing likeness. I feel like rewatching the whole show now, taking less notice of the plot and more of the filming and aesthetics.

Confused by the shootings and tina and man with gun

Right so Tina hired the ex-soldier from the last series (who was kicked out of his pub/community so is perhaps now working as a hitman?) to take out the two guys who were about to kill her due to the deal she cut (informing on their operation in exchange for getting her son released) and now she is taking over from them, working for the bigger drug organisation.

lesst he didn’t lose his leg - I thought it had been chopped off at knee last episode

I forgot about anything happening to his leg. Did he get kneecapped? I thought he was just banished from the family pub and shunned by the whole community.

Yes policeman. Shane. They said he had lost his leg I thought in last weeks

Think they just said he was in severe danger of losing his leg, more likely to lose it than not.

This is a really great show. The best cop TV that’s been on in ages.

I feel really bad for Shane's dad. Here he was, thinking things would be different and Shane would come home to work with him.

I really think it’s absolutely brilliant. Really well written and acted with powerful storylines . That’s a rare thing these days. Also no gratuitous swearing and sexual content, also very rare. You can actually focus on the storytelling.

I don’t feel bad for Shane’s dad - he’s really controlling and dismissive of Shane’s career. He should just be glad that he’s alive and hasn’t lost his leg!

I thought it was a great finale to this season. Especially the welcome back that Shane was given.
