The synopsis for season 3 says: "Two years into their jobs as response officers, Grace, Annie and Tommy are accustomed to life under the blue lights.

"But their work will take them into a sinister world hidden behind the veneer of middle-class life, the world of the accountants and lawyers who facilitate organised crime.

Amazing first episode!

I Admit I watched it at 8 so I could see e6 of cold water but otherwise fab hour

I loved episode 1 tonight, and yah boo sucks to the Guardian reviewer who didn’t. (don’t read it if you haven’t watched it yet.)

Och feck it ( in a Northern Ireland accent ) my flipping tv acted up 😮🙄and I missed the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 and no access to the BBC Iplayer.
Episode1 - Another tv show with Republic of Ireland drug cartel involvement ☹️I hate that.

I thought it was a strong start. The Guardian reviewer is criticising the move away (apparently) from sectarian crime, but the drama has to be kept fresh - S1 and S2 focused on sectarian crime, it's not unreasonable for S3 to change focus.

As for the personal relationships - we don't know how these will develop - there were definite tensions in E1, I don't think it's likely all the couples will stay loved up.

Missed the first 15 minutes [phone call] , so couldn't really concentrate. Going to watch it again!

Loved it. So much going on, and great to see the newbies reaching two years! I can’t remember the actors name who played the older chap recruiting CHISs but he was fab

Michael Smiley, he also played Roger in Bad Sisters.

I didn't get a lot of the Black Mirror episodes but White Bear and Shut Up and Dance were ones I rewatch .

Michael Smiley is best known to comedy fans for "Spaced". Think it's still on Channel 4 site.

Now that is a brilliant show! I hadn’t watched it til a couple of years ago, well worth watching

I need to have a minor moan about something that’s bothering me from the first series. Double OB. Why would you say that? It’s quicker to say OOB? And for a while I thought it meant double (as in more serious) don’t go there!

anyway, not a big annoyance but annoys me a lot!

Is that because saying 00 is more of a tongue twister or more likely to be received wrong than double 0? I know if I say a phone number I say double ‘number’ rather than ‘number,number’
ETA interestingly with a postcode I don’t. I wouldn’t say double N, I would say NN so my post here is of no help 🙈🤣

Haven’t a clue. Maybe due to the accent is more clearer to say the way they do ?
