Thought I’d sound the KLAXON and round everyone up for some Strictly chat about possible/rumoured contestants. They usually start announcing soon!

I’ve heard Dani Dyer, Stacey Solomon, Ashley Cain and Tom Parker Bowles

To be fair, I think they all seem to have a dance where they draw the short straw with the song and costume. Blackpool seems to be the worst week for it.

Still, I'm pleased Pete didn't go out on that pink monstrosity he was forced to wear.

I think the contestant who was well and truly screwed over in this way was Greg Wise. So much so, that both dd and I caught Katya mouthing "That was shite!" to her celeb.

ANOTHER contestant named Ellie? It must be the most popular name for participants.

As long there isn't another one on the same series to get confused with, which happened with Angel Ripon and Scanlon, Emma Barton and Emma Weymouth.
There's been several contestants called Joe and Tom as well.

Ellie G amd Ellie L are similar in age, so it stands to reason.

Interesting she wants Nikita or Aljaz.
Nikita would be great with her but has already had an Ellie before, not that that makes a difference, but it does mean he can make the height difference work.
He's 5ft 11, Aljaz is 6ft (but look at Janette!)
Ellie is 4ft 11 (150cm) but I assume is used to heels.

Ronan Keating isn’t a bad shout, he is standing in for Fearne Cotton on her Radio 2 show in a couple of weeks. Does he still do his commercial radio show ? Magic or smooth something like that

Thomas Skinner just been announced. I don't watch The Apprentice, but that's what he's known for.

This year has to be the worst so far in terms of announcements, it makes the last few years’ contestants look like A listers.
