What’s the best TV Series you’ve watched in the last 5 years?

For me it’s the German Series Dark on Netflix and the American series 1883 which is Paramount + but has now turned up on Netflix.

Dark which was about time travel really made you think and 1883 about Pioneer life/Cowboys was just quietly beautiful

@LittleBitofBread does succession take a while to get into? Watched the first episode and thought it was ok but nothing amazing but I need to stick with it then?

I honestly don't remember if it took some getting into or if I just liked it from the start. But I would say stick with it, because I think the acting, casting and writing is just off the charts.

I'm getting increasingly weary of psychological thrillers and the same handful of actors popping up all the time.

I absolutely love the Chelsea Detective, one of those police shows that is just nice to watch. Like Marlow Murder Club.

Reminds me a bit of Midsummer's Murders in it's gentleness.

It might be a bit out there if you've never watched Korean TV but I loved When Life Gives you Tangerines - on Netflix.

Just a reflection - I find I like a lot of things listed for the first series but then they string them out for too long - too many subsequent seasons. I may just have a short attention span!
