The White Lotus - series three - starts February 17th

The Emmy-award winning HBO original series, which offers an inside look at the powerful and wealthy as they navigate complex personal dynamics and face potentially dangerous experiences while on vacation, returns for its third season this month.

"Seeking peace can be a trip," reads the tagline for this season, which was created, written and directed by former "Survivor" contestant Mike White.
This time around, viewers will be whisked away to an "exclusive" resort in Thailand, where an eclectic group of guests and resort employees will play, and likely misbehave, over the span of a week. "The White Lotus" Season 3 guests include a wealthy businessman and his family, three longtime friends who haven't seen each other in a while on a girls' trip and "rugged man with a chip on his shoulder" and his girlfriend, among others.

Anyone else looking forward to this? Starts on Monday and will be shown on Now and Sky. No watching on demand as all episodes will be dropped weekly.

Looking forward to this too. First two series were both really good. Be weird without Jennifer Coolidge (Tanya) but hoping that this one is as good as the first two were.

It's pretty good so far - lots of potential with the characters, but I hope they don't go down an incest route which was hinted. I hadn't seen Patrick Schwarzenegger in anything before and he is really hot.

I love the rich dysfunctional lives in a beautiful location. And I'll really miss Jennifer Coolidge, she's fab.

I have waited for what seems like forever ago for season 3 and they are weekly episodes 😭. I don't want to hear from anyone that this is a good thing because I am so used to having that choice to binge or wait a week. I say this as someone who was 9 before we got 4 channels on the telly.

I hear you @Doingtheboxerbeat . I'm so used to on demand watching so having to wait weekly is really annoying, so I agree it's not a good thing, but The White Lotus has always dropped weekly.

Just watched the first one, looks like they’ve set it up well for shenanigans ahead. Patrick Schwarzenegger is v handsome but his character is awful! I’m hoping his comeuppance will feature. The dynamics of the three friends is interesting, looking forward to seeing that unfold.

Yes he was and she sussed it, but it was too late!

Yes, he was in cahoots with Quentin (Tom Hollander) to kill Tanya so Greg could inherit and give some of it to Quentin.

So Greg turns up in the resort having, presumably, inherited all her money. And who else is there? The spa manager from season 1 who Tanya also gave loads of money to. Interesting....

Greg needs to get his comeuppance. If it wasn’t for his and Quentin’s evil plot, Tanya wouldn’t have been in that boat and drowned to death. I’m hoping his new girlfriend will play a part in his downfall.

if they divorced Greg got nothing. If she dies. He got it all

thi she ended up shooting 2 of them plus the Romeo/dingy boat man via buckets tho the door that she shot wildy

one dives overboard

and she tried to get onto the small boat to stud to shore but slipped and whacked her head and died

so they didn’t kill her. It was an accident

but sad as she died after all that

so still have the one who dived off to wonder where he is now

I really like Aimee Lou Woods, I've seen her in Sex Education and Daddy Issues. In this, she's with the most unsuited partner of all. Wonder what his issues will turn out to be.

Only watched the first episode so far. It’s not as good as the first two imo. No really big characters emerging yet for me apart from the inadequate friend one (she’s a brilliant actress). The outdoor shots are stunning though.
