The White Lotus - series three - starts February 17th

The Emmy-award winning HBO original series, which offers an inside look at the powerful and wealthy as they navigate complex personal dynamics and face potentially dangerous experiences while on vacation, returns for its third season this month.

"Seeking peace can be a trip," reads the tagline for this season, which was created, written and directed by former "Survivor" contestant Mike White.
This time around, viewers will be whisked away to an "exclusive" resort in Thailand, where an eclectic group of guests and resort employees will play, and likely misbehave, over the span of a week. "The White Lotus" Season 3 guests include a wealthy businessman and his family, three longtime friends who haven't seen each other in a while on a girls' trip and "rugged man with a chip on his shoulder" and his girlfriend, among others.

Anyone else looking forward to this? Starts on Monday and will be shown on Now and Sky. No watching on demand as all episodes will be dropped weekly.

Maybe a stupid question but - why do you record it when it’s going to be constantly available to stream?

So you don't have to wait until 9pm I guess, I hate having to wait a week for an episode because streaming has turned me into an entitled spoilt biatch.

Now TV doesn’t just broadcast it at 2am and then hide it. The show is available from 2am tonight until some undefined time in the distant future when Now decide to shed it from their platform.

Ohhh - is it that you don’t want continue with a subscription? But you’ll surely face to subscribe until the series is finished - if you want all of it?

I think @Blondeshavemorefun has Sky, not Now. So Sky subscribers don’t get the option of viewing it in the morning unlike those of us who subscribe to Now.

Errrrm, I have Sky and I’m pretty sure you have access to it as soon as the episode airs at 2am. You don’t have to record it, you can just download it whenever you want from On Demand. It really makes no difference other than if you’ve set your box to record the series then the episodes are automatically downloaded rather than you hitting the button on the episode yourself.

Is no one watching it on Hbo Max? Once it’s there, it’s there. Not sure what time though 🤔

I've just binged watched season 1 and 2 and enjoyed both.

Not enjoying season 3.

Season 3 isn't grabbing me straight away like the other seasons did.

But I am enjoying it and think it will get better. Just not much seems to have actually happened yet and I don't feel that interested in any of the characters. Whereas I loved the dynamic of the 2 couples in the last series and the tension between Armand and his difficult guests in the first series. Plus of course I miss Jennifer Coolidge and all her crazy ways!

Maybe it’s because they’re setting the scene for what’s to come but I too am not that invested so far, though the Saxon character intrigues me and him talking about sex a lot means something big sex-related with him is obviously going to happen.

Aimee Lou-Wood is boring me - she’s pretty much the same character in everything I move seen her in.
