I know there is a thread for this but I started to read and all talking about the book and plot so I stopped reading - I think that one may be for bingers as all will be shown on iPlayer (which drives me nuts) 😡

So this as usual will be tv paced

Robin and Corrmoran are back

This time the pair delve into the case of the cartoon creator Eddie Ledwell.

She tells Robin she is being persecuted by an anon online figure spreading hate and is found dead in a cemetery ,,,,,,,,,,

But there are 2 names and as I said if one was online they could be following another so hard to rule out

Excited for today’s episode. They can’t surely dig up the letters buried with Edie Ledwell? Would it mean anything, as Joshua Blay (the co creator who is in hospital after being 2mm from being killed) said he dictated them to Katya Upcott (his agent, who Edie had sacked) and she could have written anything. Or chosen not to accurately transcribe to protect Josh.

Then there’s Josh’s ex girlfriend Kea who he mistakenly called the night before, when he was kicked out of North Grove by Mariam (Nils wife and the art teacher) for starting that fire. So Kea knew they were meeting and she’s supposed to have a grudge because of the source material for the cartoon might have been her idea really. But we’ve been told she has ME.

Nils’ monologue with his art seemed to lend him to judging Edie but that doesn’t mean murder.

Ex police officer boyfriend Philip Ormond, Poldark doctor, has grand ideas of being a writer.

Where’s her phone? I think that will be pivotal.

I don’t know what to make of Pez and Wally, both seem like idiots and easy stooges for others to use. Wally is desperate and unemployed and getting himself in deep water.

Oh and then there’s Strike’s ex trying to pull him in to her drama!

There’s so much going on it’s quite difficult to know what story strand to focus on, let alone try to figure one out.

They are still crossing everyone off but Anomie still on screen so def 2 people must be playing them as a partnership

I still think a woman esp when the girl on the bench said easier to be a man online

If the Skeleton is Anomie , who pushed the other man off onto the track - seems slim and slight

The first one (Cuckoo's Calling) was hitting the bestseller lists when an 'industry insider' leaked that Robert Galbraith is JKR.

Her book under her own name prior to that was The Casual Vacancy and it was OK but laboured under expectation (and a bunch of weirdos who were cross it wasn't a magical book nor for children).

If you ever wonder about separating art from artist, you only have to read the petty, vindictive TV reiew on The Guardian of the Strike series. The most recent even manages to imply they are poorly regarded flops, despite being on the bestseller lists for months.

So much stuff happens! I had to watch the conversation in the back of the moving van between Strike and Robin twice. I was expecting a personal conversation not a whole load of murder plot exposition. Suddenly Uncle Grunt Grant’s daughter from first marriage is relevant, explains why we had to listen to him talk about arranging the funeral and his eldest daughter insisting she attends. And then suddenly we’re going to Cambridge when we’ve just gone to Leeds. Nothing about Strike’s ex and Jago came up?

I have no idea who it might be.

Surely Robin Ellacott’s job is now completely done given a video of her face has gone viral giving her full name? How will she PI now?

To be fair, when she wears a disguise she is hard to recognise. It shouldn't make that much difference.

Rowling was pretty passed off about it at the time.

The whole of North Grove and Wally and Pez recognised her from the video though as the disguised woman who’d been doing art there

It wasn’t leaked! JK Rowling’s lawyer, who had negotiated her publishing contract for the books and who absolutely should have known better, told one of his wife’s friends the secret. A clear breach of solicitor-client confidentiality. The wife’s friend then ended up in a twitter discussion with journalist India Knight and revealed the secret in the course of that.

JK Rowling was furious, and took action against the law firm, settled on the basis that the firm would make a payment to a charity of her choice. The partner who blabbed was disciplined by his regulatory authority.
