How will John Dutton be written out? Any theories?

also, was there some significance with Lloyd in the opening scene?

I felt it was there to signify "business as usual" at the ranch

I so loved this series and all the offshoots and spin offs. But have been waiting so long I forgot about it.
Does the new episode give a recap?

Also any news on the spin off series that starred Helen Mirren? I forget the name. Is that due soon too?

1923 it is definitely coming back, no release date though.

The scenery is just fabulous. Fantastic seeing Jimmy again. Not sure how I feel about killing JD off. Time will tell. Loved the scene between Rip and Beth at the end.

No recap. Rewatch the last ep from S5 Pt 1 to remind yourself.

I re-watched the lot prior to this series too, so glad to have it back. Unsurprising key story, but will be very interesting to see where they go with the back story.

I think the whole ‘stay with the herd’ plot line at a cost of $1.4M pcm is somewhat far-fetched. Surely Beth has worked that out - although I reckon she plans on opening the ranch as an exclusive hotel.

I hate Sarah! Her smug face, I hope she gets her karma.
I feel Beth will turn the ranch into a business of some kind, either the beef or maybe a venue of some description.

We also just watched the first ep of landman, will find the thread.

It feels sad that Kevin didn't stay until the end - and I didn't like what they've done but I think the story will have a sting in the tail.

Having said that, we watched Horizon at the weekend and that was stonkingly good.

Ooh yes. I think Kacey will discover it was her and then confront Jamie who will confess and throw her under the bus.

Anyone else fast forward bits that just feature Kacey and his family? I find him and his storylines dreadfully boring.

I think Kacey’s family must’ve pissed on a witch at some point - they really have the worst luck of anyone. I don’t mind them as a storyline but I find the constant pawing of each other in front of their son a bit much and a bit unrealistic - they give me Kourtney Kardashian/Travis Barker vibes 😂

I definitely agree that Kayce has had the lamest stories and the least development. Tate has been a bad actor all along. The other boy whose name escapes me is brilliant.

I found the jumping forwards and back last night difficult to follow. I also don’t think that’s the last we will hear of Summer either. She will be back and I am wondering pregnant.

I’m thinking back to when Beth saw Jamie’s child seat in the car and promised to ‘take the child away from him’. I reckon that’s how she gets him to give up Sarah - assuming Kacey hasn’t got there first.
