It's not like she's blobby, she has curves, just slightly larger than he expected. Although I did eyebrow raise at size 14, I would have said bigger than that, but she looks good on it, which is probably her confidence. Which he is trashing.

Honestly I'm not sure, it's a hard one. If I knew that without an attraction, my feelings wouldn't develop I would possibly feel like I was leading someone on. Perhaps he wanted to make it clear so that she could also make an informed decision come the commitment ceremony.
I'd probably be a little more diplomatic about it, and he knew there could be a chance he wouldn't fancy the one he was matched with, its like a blind date you can't easily walk away from. So I don't have sympathy with him because he knew that, I can just understand where he's coming from with what he does and doesn't like.

Yes, I see what you're saying, although several times for me it has gone friendship then attraction (some the other way round) so I'm not sure either. He could have been more diplomatic though. We've heard what he wants, but not really what she wants, that would be interesting.

Oh he's totally right to feel that way, I just would have hedged it for the honeymoon, and tried a more diplomatic approach. Saying that, she pushed it, so....

you don't have to say she IS unattractive. you can say she is attractive, but not the type you fancy.

thats fair enough. I can think many people, men and women are attractive but not fancy them.

But really this show is supposed to be about meeting someone you wouldn't normally go for, but should be suitable. Like a proper arranged marriage. (of course its most a show for drama and to get an Insta career). if you went into it propertly, you'd expect to meet someone you didn't particularly fancy right away.

Of course one assumes the questionairre asks - what body type do you like/hate and assuming the people answer honestly, then the experts are just doing this for drama.Stupid show. But yet, i watch it!

Caspar/Emma is an odd one.

I think he comes across as a bit of a man child and like he has some odd issues surrounding his sister. I don't think he's particularly likable either.

However she did push him for an answer regarding the attraction and everyone has a type. I don't think he really 'needs to reevaluate his view of women' just cos he isn't attracted to larger ones - so thought her speech was a bit OTT.

But what you say and what you really think can be different. I've always had a thing for blonds. Dated many in my younger years. But oddly all my meaningful relationships have been with brown haired people. Dp 0f 10 years is bald, but was brown haired before I met him. My ex husband was brown haired. As were the ones I keep in touch with from earlier years. Go figure.

Bar the ginger Aussie, but he was a laugh and moved back to Oz, so it's all good. So not my type, but fun while it lasted. We're still in touch. Dp has no issue with this although laughs at how different they are.

Emma is too much. It’s great to be confident, but to me, she’s too full of herself. Caspar could've phrased it better, but he is put off by her size. It’s ironic as he’s chubby himself.

Charlie is awful! Too full on. Not sure what to make of Eve yet.

I agree though @DillDanding - don't think Lacey is quite his cup of tea and I feel bad for her as she's obviously already quite insecure

Caspar could have said to Emma, you are an attractive and sexy woman, just not for me. He could have worded differently. On the other hand, I find Emma's teacher-like tone too much and too aggressive and I would be a little scared of her.

Anyway, the producers are having an absolute laugh with these pairings. Talking about it to a friend, she said ‘you only want one or 2 couples to get on - otherwise it’s boring!’. And that’s actually true.

I'm sure they set up some car crashes deliberately. I'd rather have more with at least some potential.

Emma is very, actually I'm not sure what she's very, but definitely too much for a bit of a man baby.

I get that Caspar doesn't fancy her but there's something pretty wtaf about a chubby bloke with a belly telling a woman who is size 14 that it's her size, etc. There are so many other ways he could have put it. Maybe she's a bit too much but he's an arsehole.

Eve and Charlie. Oh my. I really didn't think we'd be watching them fall apart on their honeymoon but there you go. At first I was happy to say it's all Charlie and give Eve her space but Eve was telling her not to shout at her even when Charlie was not even close to shouting. So, we have one person who needs to air everything immediately, who is full of drama and then calms down and is the person you fell for again and one person who will not go anywhere close to emotions, feelings, anything that even sounds like criticism and who spends far too much time in the gym. They are both hard work in their own ways and I think Eve might be harder work which I didn't think I'd be saying before everything went completely tits up. I also find that when she's not happy and smiling but curling into herself and not willing to talk about anything that she verges on ugly when she's a very attractive woman. Then again I also feel a bit sorry for both of them because MAFS seem to have given each of them their worst nightmare, constant rejection for Charlie and all about the drama for Eve.

I don't agree that just because you yourself are tubby, you can't tell another tubby person that you don't find tubby people attractive. Even if it makes you a hypocrite. And I say that as someone who is very substantially fat who doesn't find other fat people attractive. And yes, I would say that to them.

I loved Zoe and Jenna and despite the fact that ixperts put two incompatible life styles together and still they made it work. They were my favourite couple. Roll on mixing bowl guy this season seems to be more dramatic than last. Emma was absolutely gorgeous with her hair curly and her complexion flawless. She was to kind with him, he s a right as....e. You must be stupid and emotionally inept to tell a woman about her size, they were so many other options he had. Katie price temu is putting lots of weight on the shoulders of a guy who has his own emotional issues, he is not her therapist. She seems attention seeking, i see her the one who will be the shit stirrer.
