It's not just the car crash, although theres no reason to bring that up 3 times in as many days. It's the vt yesterday, the bullying, the twin being prettier. She keeps asking him to talk but she's not really talking herself. It's all far too much for what is essentially a prolonged first date

Charlie does the classic "wanting to talk" just so she can offload and persuade Eve she's right. She not actually in listening to anything Eve says.
As soon as they both agreed they wanted go back to how it was at the beginning Charlie's rehashing it yet again. If she had let Eve have space and find herself a good tequila bar for a night they'd both be happier now.
