I can't see another thread about this programme starting Jodie Foster, Kali Rees and Fiona Shaw.

I watched the first episode yesterday and I really liked it.

I read a lot of books about, and set in, Alaska so I was disposed to like it.
It was good to be cwtched up under a blanket watching the story unfold in the icy Arctic darkness.

Has anyone else seen it, and what do you think.

PS I love Jodie Foster and Fiona Shaw! I met FS many years ago and stammered some incoherent appreciation. I still blush when I think of it. ☺️

I was rather hoping they'd be doing more detective work than standing in a circle of photographs placed on the floor.

Ok, this was my favourite episode. Feels like things are moving now

Well, they'd want to be moving by now as there is only one episode left.

based on the pace i thought it was 8. Found the last few episodes too slow.

Yes, it's only 6 this season. They spent a lot of time on sisters and stepdaughters and sex lives, etc.

I imagine there will be a twist at the end but i really hope the killer isn’t navarro’s boyfriend!

That would be a twist!! He's by far the most together and uncompleted character!!

I would just love there to be a genuinely nice guy the story for once!

Finally three True Detectives!! Feeling pretty sorry for Peter.

Oh no I really hope it's not Navarro'a shag-buddy, I really fancy him.

Prior Jr discovered this which led to Navarro being a trooper(?) & Liz getting the job that Prior Sr wanted?

Didn't see THAT coming!

Think Peter sees Danvers more of a parent figure/role model and that's why he did what he did.

When he and Danvers were hugging on the floor was so emotional.

Really don't want this series to end.

I think this is all a recent discovery. I think Liz was transferred as she was difficult to work with and Navarro always was a trooper.
Prior Jnr asked about Wheeler a couple of episodes ago. He suspected there was more to the story so went digging on his laptop. Hank then guessed the password to his laptop and went on it to do some digging and stumbled on the info about wheeler. Then fed it to Connelly who used it as leverage to get them to stop the investigation

Had to scroll through as didn't want to see any spoilers. But for those of you looking for subtitles on mine which is a SKY box - Go to Settings , then Accessibility, after Audio about two lines down should be Subtitles that you can switch on . Any program that does subtitles will show them. So you can also turn them off when you don't want them. Live news can be fun as they scramble to keep up with the speakers.

@diddl He's been d scribed as a 'political animal' who wants to run for office so I presume he doesn't know about Annie's death or Kate/Hanks involvement in it but wants to keep the mining company onside for his career

I'm prepared for lots of twists in the final episode though!

@Soonenough annoyingly they don't have them for any UHD program which means we have to downgrade to have subtitles

Yes I enjoyed it for the most part but parts of it are left ambiguous, which I don’t always enjoy.
