I grew up watching it in the 90s on a Saturday night. I didn't see the sky(?) remake as I don't think we had sky at the time, however this time it looks like they are keeping some of the original events

My favourites used to be Lightning and Wolf. I also used to want to be on it and do the eliminator. No chance of my lardy self making it round it now!

Apollo is also very nice to look at

Our DS (6 years) loved it, and we loved watching it again. Its great they haven't tried to modernise it. It was and is great, just the way it is. A bit cheesey, good family entertainment.
Definitely be tuning in next week.

DS and I watched it together so I'm a happy bunny. I showed him Wolf and he pissed himself. We liked Fire the best because her music was Celeste "...can't stop this flame" but my word, Sabre on Hang Tough was something to behold!

I loved it. Except for B&B presenting. There must have been someone better out there!

Sabre basically scissoring the living daylights out of the amazing Scottish lesbian contestant Kerry during hangtough was incredible TV! 🤣

Loved this show in the 90s, used to watch it in my Jet outfit 🙈 as a kid, straight after Baywatch on a Saturday! Not feeling the Walshes as presenters though...

I watched it on iplayer and loved it! Best thing on the telly all night. Honestly, I’ve not laughed so much for ages, a real tonic. I’ll definitely watch it every week.

I loved it except I miss the individual soundtracks for all the games!

I dated one of them. Cobra. I was 16, it didn't last long. He is a nice guy, we are still in touch, many years later.

Muscles like stone. He almost crushed me when he cuddled me (I'm tiny) 8yrs older than me so parents weren't too pleased. He's a lovely man.

People will watch the first 1 or 2 episodes for nostalgia and that's it.

Well yes, seeing as it's already been done and flopped. It would be quite naive to think otherwise.

We are loving it! Lots of great sportsmanship on show too, which is an improvement on the original.

We're loving it too! Agree re Crystal Maze - would be fab if they did a 21st century remake (so less cheap / cardboardy like!)

Over the moon this is back, I was OBSESSED as an 11 year old. 4 year old DD loved it, her favourite is Apollo. Giant actually coached my DH when he was bodybuilding a couple of years ago.

I thought it was great and hopefully will last longer than the previous attempt at a remake. Also - definitely remember the eliminator being longer - the rolling log!

Sorry, but the Eliminator was almost identical 😍
They added difficulty/change a couple of the obstacles when they get to the next round, so I assume they'll do that this year too
