New 6part drama on weekly on wed

After The Flood on ITV1 sees Peaky Blinders star Sophie Rundle (https://www.whattowatch.com/news/after-the-flood-star-sophie-rundle-wasnt-sure-about-working-with-real-life-partner) take on the role of an obsessed cop in a town torn apart by the effects of a shocking environmental disaster.

She plays PC Joanna Marshall who w orks in a small town that has been hit by a terrible flood who then finds she has a murder investigation on her hands.

After The Flood follows life in a town struggling in the aftermath of a major flood that has wrecked the community.

As the clear-up starts, the body of an unidentified man is found in a lift in an underground car park and the police quickly assume he was trapped by the rising waters.

However, as the investigation unfolds, pregnant PC Joanna Marshall (Sophie Rundle) becomes obsessed with finding out what happened to him, and it seems the floods will expose long-buried truths.

Last nights episode was definitely a bit better. I am wondering if the husband is a bent copper.

The French lady's accent is all over the place , but ( apart from not watching the ending properly) I am enjoying it and Lee seems nice
( although he probably isn't and murdered the lift man or something is dodgy there, considering he knows the French lady etc)

Who told her brother was dead 5yr ago on motorbike accident I think and whose body is in the box burnt in ashes now

I don't think hubby is the bent copper

I think it's more likely Tasha is dodgy than Lee. But we will see. The scene where we saw Lee stagger out of the water, and seem to avoid police cars, making him look like a fugitive (or worse), seemed like a bit of mis-direction to me.

I think he is def dodgy /has a past /criminal etx or else would have gone to the police after he saved the baby

I spent ages trying to decide if it was the same person or not 😂

It is all a bit unrealistic but I'll continue watching.

So how did the red dusty car (yes I went back to e1) to see it briefly for 2 seconds disappear from a crime scene

Surely while the body was there and crime scene tapes off etx and taking pics someone would have been on guard making sure nothing /no one goes

So how did the red car move from the car park in those few mins /hours

And Daniel made sure people told his sister he died and he started a new life and name with Lee

So if Lee knew why couldn't Daniel let Tasha in on the big secret

Jack has obv fiddled the cheque they held as preg lady mum is asking for the money and he keeps delaying her

So where is that money

Where is the money lee said about so another £100k

And wasn't it jack who banged on the lees door
