was wondering I thought I was watching the show from inside that cleavage! I agree she's too Amazonian in her demeanor to be Nancy at the mo but what a voice!!! My husband would say 'what a pair of lungs!' but, in this case, it could most certainly be misconstrued!

I must be getting old, I kept hearing myself say to the screen 'put ON some CLOTHES!" and then my ds the parrot was saying it in exactly the same as me!

But he likes Samantha the best says shes a 'dudette' whatever that might be.........

He also like the innocent one with the eyes and 5 jobs and honey voice. I think she's too innocent looking for La Nancy myself.

there's a poor child at my friend's dd's infant school (I drop her off sometimes) who is the dead spit of Lord Sir Lloyd Webber...poor girl...

Oh that's just awful MaryAnn. The Lord is strangely watchable though.

Is it just me or is Jessie's mouth really weird and somehow opens diagonallly. I actually can't bear to watch her sing. Very off-putting. And she did look a complete hoofer stomping around stage in that green frock.

actually, Francesca's whole top set of teeth are quite prominent ands I think they make her lisp a bit which you can hear when she sings

Well, we're feeling v happy in the zog house as all our faves went through - Jessie, Jodie, Rachel, Cleo, Keisha and Niamh. Definitely thought the right two were in the sing-off and that Amy went - she missed too many notes for my liking (says she who struggles to sing Happy Birthday in tune ).

I missed it last night but I think Amy was wrong for Nancy.
And I can't forgive that green dress and the dancing. It was not right!

And I know this is incredibly incorrect politically, and I am no sylph at all. But if these lasses want to be in the public eye, why don't some of them shed a little poundage?

I know one of them lost 8 stone or something. But quite a few of them just look hefferish on stage don't you think?

I mean fine if you're only singing but Nancy probably has to dance a bit and you can't have the audience thinking 'lovely voice shame about the tonnage?' Can you?

I KNOW in real life these lasses are probably far slimmer than they look in wide screen. But if you really want to be on screen/stage surely you'd optimise your chances wouldn't you?!

I know I sort of felt that too! And was glad of it in terms of role models and all and clearly Nancy won't have to be a sylph - of course that's true it's good.

It's more that these lasses constantly say 'it's the only thing I've ever wanted' and speak in the language of whatever it takes and some of them would probably do well if they want to work in such a horrible vicious nasty brutal industry, if they really wanted to, wouldn't they shift a pound or two?

It's more or a career question!

But of course you're right, it's good to see, and good for young women watching to get more normal role models!

I am going to write to The Lord if another professional wins - what is the point of doing this TV thingy - they may as well just hold auditions - soooooo peeeed off that Connie won and then wet Lee - what on earth Denise O sees in him I have no idea!

I liked Amy - she was down to earth and pretty - Francesca on the other hand needs to get that overbite sorted to stop the lisping - I would demand a refund if had to sit through her being Nancy!

I was more distracted by her godawful voice (is it me or was she singing through her nose? very distracting).

So remind me which one was Amy... and whoe did she have to sing against? (missed last night's episode).

I liked the shortarse with the nice voice.
