Luke has been banned from the reunion and of course he's being all humble and not a twat at all in his telling of this.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 09/11/2023 09:49

Luke and Jordan are having a boxing match to settle the beef

For whatever reason Jordan is a liability. It’s all about him, there’s no room in his world for anyone else. And imagine the embarrassment of social situations with his complete lack of filter.

I felt so sorry for Roz and Thomas last night. They really gave it a good go and it was so sad to watch the obvious pain they both felt.

It’s all about him, there’s no room in his world for anyone else.

It's true for Ella too.

I've not watched last night's episode yet but you're all so unusually quiet....

I think MNHQ may have hidden the thread for a while, I couldn't find it last night!

She’s a carer for her granny. Nobody who’s done that thinks it’s easy. 🤷‍♀️

Thisisnotlikehim · 09/11/2023 20:57

I think Ella would be naked if she could. So much boob last night. JJ is just odd. Creepy.

I can’t believe they matched a couple without noticing one wanted kids and the other didn’t. That’s pretty crappy of them.

Anyone else reminded of French and Saunders in the home stays episode? - Jennifer Saunders playing a bloke? I won’t say who.

Each episode I watch I get further and further from wanting to watch it again. Its just ridiculous now.

mrstea301 · 09/11/2023 21:17

It is becoming a bit of a slog now. I always hate final dates though. Actually contemplating returning to virgin river instead!

Revolutionaryb · 10/11/2023 02:56

I think Tasha hit Paul.

Mothership4two · 10/11/2023 05:36

I wondered that too @Revolutionaryb

Absolutely. Should be a total no no.

But then Laura said she didn't want a "project" and Nathaniel had a whole list that was ignored and says had to be talked into 'marrying' a trans woman. Peggy wanted a gentleman who treated her like a princess 🙄and was matched with Georges who at the beginning was a bit of a buffoon who just wanted someone with nice "titties". Not sure they are really being paired for long term relationships seems more like entertainment.

Yes. True. It’s not really enjoyable to watch now. But I’m going to have to finish it!

Toptutort · 10/11/2023 08:37

@Mothership4two
You have just said it for me!
It's been a hard slog recently, but I wanted to see what happened in the end...Not much by the look of it!
I won't watch it again,
@Thisisnotlikehim

mrstea301 · 10/11/2023 09:58

I'm still listening to the podcasts as well - MAFS hysteria and Lara on Eyre, which are good. Lara just had an interview with Georges which was really good, he actually comes across pretty decent. Says he's a joker but never nasty and still speaks highly of Peggy.

burnoutbabe · 10/11/2023 17:40

I watched it up to about a month ago when I went in holiday.
Absolutely actually it was just as good following this thread as watching the show!

I did like the 2 ladies last year and follow Zoe on instagram. So sometimes it does work and it's nice to watch that -like the Aussie couple from a few years ago jules etc. but I think deep down they were actually all nice genuine people and marched with similar. No huge past trauma.

BIossomtoes · 09/11/2023 20:49

She’s a carer for her granny. Nobody who’s done that thinks it’s easy. 🤷‍♀️

How could she care for gran doing all those surgeries. I think she lives with her and give her occasionally a cup of tea.

Definitely on the show, it's all about her journey.

KTSl1964 · 10/11/2023 19:37

Yes Ella a carer? Who’s looking after Nan for the past 10 weeks. 😁Ella just lives with her and yes makes her a cuppa occasionally.

Mothership4two · 10/11/2023 19:43

I was a tad cynical about Ella as a full time carer. I think she probably just lives there. She said she'd move to London for JJ - what about Gran, her 'care' has not even been mentioned? Also Ella has said she is planning more surgeries for a Katie Price look - and be a carer?

Toptutort · 10/11/2023 20:47

I suspect that JJ really doesn't want her anywhere near London!!😂

Mothership4two · 11/11/2023 03:00

I watched a MH podcast with Bianca where she talked about her horrendous controlling ex. She came across as sweet and down to earth. She said the honeymoons on MAFS aren't much cop as they are stuck in their hotels and are only taken out so that certain activities can be filmed - they have no control and can't go off on their own and be tourists. I remember Luke saying something about doing lots of honeymoon activities but that many of them don't get shown. She said she found it hard going because you leave the group behind and can't contact them and she had no idea what happened next. I'm pretty sure she said she regretted going on the programme.

Mothership4two · 11/11/2023 03:09

Ella was on the official MAFS podcast and is still a brunette and still very much into JJ. I wonder if they are still together? I thought they would last five minutes - maybe they are going to surprise everyone?

Laura was on the week before and she was obviously trying not to give anything away but her attitude was pretty cool towards Arthur. She did talk about his speaking without thinking, but in a matter or fact way. They are just too different and do not have the same sense of humour.

Revolutionaryb · 11/11/2023 06:47

Mothership4two · 10/11/2023 05:36

I wondered that too @Revolutionaryb

The clues are in Paul's reaction and his comment to his friends when he called Tasha a "little girl". It was edited to sound patronising but when he explained, he was expressing wonder that someone so small could physically attack him and win. Or at least I think that's what happened. It's the only thing that makes sense.

PS If true, then "wow!" at the double standards of the producer not to expel Tasha in the same way that they expelled Luke Worley.

browneyes77 · 12/11/2023 18:20

I’ve seen a few TikTok’s that show Kira, the sister of Bronte, who was on the last MAFSAUS, is on Love Island Australia.

And they’ve only gone and put Harrison’s ex - the girl who caused all that trouble at their wedding in there. It’s carnage 🤣🤣🤣

(the one who sent the pics of Harrison packing and telling Bronte’s friend he was still dating her when he came on the show).

Aaargh!!

Appalonia · 13/11/2023 20:54

Sometimes I think it would be of more use to have someone as no nonsense as Ann Widdecombe as an expert, she'd certainly give more honest and useful advice than those dopes...!😂

Mothership4two · 14/11/2023 10:57

Wow, Laura's non vow renewal was cold. She doesn't seem to give a sh*t about Arthur. She knew he was going to be hurt but, no, not a flicker. He seemed to be genuinely blindsided and upset. Guess she was just in it for the air time and once that was over she was out.

Lovely shots of Greenwich when the announcer was talking about Laura's home - some 80 miles away.

Not sure why the programme had to leave the Peggy/Georges vow renewal on a cliffhanger? One hour and we only saw the outcome of two couples - talk about dragging things out! We all know now that they aren't still together anyway. Georges seemed emotional and is obviously very 'into' her, can't say that the feelings are reciprocated. Peggy's sister made me smile when she said Peggy was ambitious and I realised she meant that she is ambitious in wanting her husband to be ambitious/hard working/well paid! Peggy's mother is awful. Fair enough give an honest response when you are asked (as Peggy did) but don't be totally snitty about the partner to the point of contradicting your child. It's not as though he is a drug dealer, he is a pretty ordinary bloke. If one of my DS had a partner that I wasn't keen on I would keep quiet unless asked (even then would be fairly circumspect). I would only get involved if there were serious concerns.

I really don't see Erica and Jordan going the distance. He is emotional and fairly needy and she is the opposite and not the sort of person to want or be able to cope with that long term. I was surprized how honest they came across (to me). I'm not sure what Luke meant with his "just keep watching" to see Jordan's true colours? I actually quite like Jordan and I think he finds it hard to hide his thoughts and feelings but he seems genuine and not deliberately malicious - wouldn't want to be married to him though.

Really could be doing without the dramatic music and shots cutting between bride and groom expressions to heighten the tension during the programme (on top of the dragging things out) - just get on with it. We have been watching them all for two months now.
