Channel five with Tanya from Eastenders and a woman who looks a bit like Cheryl Cole
Couldn't see a thread for this

I liked Laura's house a lot , it was spacious.
Emily seemed to have a normal place.
The house in ' lie with me' with Charlie brooks ( Janine ) was lovely too.
It's big business renting out your home to tv companies. They wouldn't want mine !

Who's Pauline?

From the teacher. Was amusing

You need to watch it first

MyNameisMathilda · 09/06/2023 23:11

I really hope that I never see any of these characters again. Had to watch the last two this evening to see what happened but it was just so irritating and crap. That Cheryl Cole actress did my head in with the Holly Oaks style of acting.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/06/2023 23:55

I haven't watched this but by reading these posts I think I'll save a few hours of my life by not getting embroiled with it Grin

Sheridan Smith was in a drama where she;s on holiday and her son is arrested on suspicion of sexual assault . Her sister is played by the actress in Blue Light ( it took me ages to find out where I'd seen her before ) who also had a Nice House

the80sweregreat · 10/06/2023 08:38

The SS drama set in Turkey was called ' no return' about her son ending up in prison
That was filmed in Spain I remember reading and was on ITV.
They like their 'on location ' dramas.

it was shit

Pocketfullofdogtreats · 10/06/2023 14:26

For Her Sins is The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, isn't it?
But I'm enjoying it. Who'd have thought that Helen from AllCreaturesG&S could be so sinister? And yes, never realised but she does look like Cheryl Cole!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/06/2023 19:01

I feel means for saying this

Sometimes she looked like a horse with nostrils flaring

But she is a great actress

With the fake crying phone call. The smiling

rk0604 · 10/06/2023 21:11

Jo Joyner was in RIPTIDE playing the exact same character, she really can't act, its very irritating to watch her

purpleme12 · 10/06/2023 21:21

I'm indifferent towards her really, but it seems lots of people like her on here

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/06/2023 21:49

She had found a style of acting that suits her and prob pays lots

Back21970 · 10/06/2023 23:12

Just binge watched it tonight, quite good if a bit predictable.

However casting a bit off, Jo Joyner (who looks great btw) is at least 10 years older than Rachel Sheldon, not credible that they would have been pals when young IMO 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/06/2023 06:30

They look about 4yrs diff when young

4/6 ans 8/10

daffodilandtulip · 12/06/2023 21:05

I liked it but I'm easily pleased as long as there's death and misery 🤣

I thought from the grey sweater that Emilie was being interviewed by the police, and so was JJ but as a witness so spent the entire time thinking that either the daughter or husband had died.

So since it was just ABH or maybe attempted murder, she'll be out soon and I think that smirk at the end suggested she'll be back...

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/06/2023 22:46

@daffodilandtulip same as

I like most stuff and willing to give it a go

JMSA · 17/06/2023 06:23

The main thing I took from this - and call me a cynic - is that there isn't a man alive who'd turn down Emily's advances!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/06/2023 09:07

She just played them

NeedWineNow · 20/06/2023 22:34

We've just finished it (we did it over two nights).

it was very formulaic and cliched. We guessed the plotline very early on. I like Jo Joyner as a rule but she does tend to play the same roles in everything. Her character irritated me beyond belief. DH was very upset to see the nice Mrs Herriot as a baddie!
