Watching episode two now. Weird that neither JJ, nor her DH, have caught on to everything changing when mad Emily came into their lives.

I'm loving this! It's not my usual sort of programme but it's so ridiculous and corny. There bound to be several twists revealed soon. The Emily woman is so deliciously evil/ manipulative.

It's like a British double length version of the C5 afternoon movies which inevitably feature a stalker, some long buried secret from the past, someone in witness protection or all three. I love them! 😂

Eliza is def still a brat. Hitting her dad as no getting any attention

If someone took my card to pay for two rooms in a posh hotel it wouid come declined 😂

Only up to advert break but assume hotel will show up on their joint account

And wondering if she will be preg after the sex with hubby and she will be scarred it will be other man's baby (obvious as black)

I don't think that Laura did sleep with her ex as she was too drugged up / drunk.
It was just made to look that way by the evil Emily.
It is like the afternoon films on channel five that have similar storylines.
I feel a big twist though , maybe Laura isn't really the good guy here, but it's not on the hub to binge watch so don't know

Laura surely has at least minor skeletons in her closet. Emily's made that pretty clear in the 'to camera' (therapist?) scenes.

It's clear something bad happened from the first episode and Emily drops hints all the time she isn't picking up on about this woman.

Emily is either a journalist or working with a journalist (the man whose name I've forgotten) to expose Laura, I think. But also seems to have a vested interest.

Liam. Didn't they say there were 2 ladies - one they couldn't find and then her and she thinks near breaking /confessing (Laura)

Emily also said to therapist she feels she should hate her but finding hard

If was the anniversary of her brother dying , wouldn't that have pinged a memory to Laura if she was involved in his death

Emily is a little physio cancelling nanny and also pretending to be girls mum

She only had to tell Rob that Emily is the nanny - school would back her up

I think Emily is the other woman involved in this tragedy, whatever it was. She seemed upset to learn when Liam said there was no trace of the other woman but he has found out her parents had died.
I wonder if Laura and Emily were childhood friends who killed a child, accidentally or otherwise.
Or maybe Laura was involved in the death (drowning?) of Emily's brother.

I'm surprised that Emily hasn't recognized Laura if they knew each other before , but maybe she is putting on that accent or dyed her hair. She bumped into her at the very start of episode one , probably just to see if Laura did recognize her or not. When she didn't , she then went on to see her at the school etc.
Someone has clearly drowned at some stage too. It's all linked , but maybe not as straight forwards as you first think

Emily is gaslighting her, but surely Laura should remember all that stuff about 'Flo's at her dad's this weekend'? She wasn't drugged up then.
