Loved it - loved the music. Loved Gene.

I don't care that it's a parody of itself - I still enjoyed it.

I thought it was brilliant,,, i like her nickname "Bolly Knickers" Gene Hunt rules!!!

1973 - innocent, funny, unguarded.

1981 - mock sophisticated.

Still nice to see Gene again.

And did she really have to walk around for the first 35 mins in her dress and stockings? I was appalled..

She is unrealistic and a bad actress to boot.

The attention to detail is very impressive.

I had forgotten about the rolled up sleeves on mens suit jackets.

I don't like the big production they are making every time Gene Hunt appears on screen. Philip Glenister is a great actor, but this is meant to be drama not panto. Love the 80s music though.

But she is a crap.

I loved the scene n the motor boat - so eighties miami vice pmsl.

Dh won't see it until tomorrow but he's going to love it.

Think they should have ahd a Capri though, I always associate the eighties with Capri's- I only knew one bloke with a Quattro (though he was a prat)

Bet Philip Glenister's a lot less interesting than Gene Hunt. It's the attitude that makes him so attractive, isn't it.
