That was fooking brilliant. I cried loads.
Tlr was a perfect representation of so many hardened criminals, fucked up from horrific childhood, no idea how to show or receive love and needing to to be hard and scary etc. Its always a tragic story behind offending no matter what we think of the person they are now and the crimes they commit.
Love how she finally woke up re Ryan, he's such a beautiful boy and a real blessing to their family, was so heartbreaking seeing tlr look at the pics, could see the cogs turning and him realising his son has everything he never had.
Intrigued about darius, wonder he had ever planned to get him to marbela or if it was always bullshit?
Presumably he changed his mind when tlr was talking about revenge on Catherine or he heard on the grapevine ref the games console being found?
Horrendous Rob Hepworth. He reminds me so much of someone I know irl whos abusive and predatory.
Wonder if that's what his wife was hinting at when she said about him drawing in kids and being their friend?
I know it's fiction but despite the dbs checks, still millions of abusers get into these positions with kids and vulnerable people all the time, makes me sad.
Glad there were no stupid twists like Neil being Tommy's dad or other whack conspiracies and glad he didn't kill her.
Was intrigued by the trio of gangsters in the car, especially the long haired one, was the only incongruous bit for me
Anyway, gutted its over. I thought it was a Brilliant ending. They made me laugh at times with their conversation in the kitchen.
He played it so well.
Sad for Ryan he died but it gives him a clean slate to move forward into adulthood having the answers even though they're horrendous.
