Love Island Winter 2023 pre-series discussion

Looks like Love Island producers have announced that participants' social media will be locked whilst the programme airs. (Looking for reliable source, so far I can only find tabloid stories).
I hope it's true, I think it's needed.

Hmmm, promising tomorrow night preview. Hope there is some chopping and changing unlike the last few series.

I like that this season has gotten off to a faster place - recouplings, dates and challenges straight away - much better from last year!

Zara is going to cause problems (in a good way). Tears will be had soon I think...

Zara seems to have it all, stunning and a decent personality. Ron deffo seems interested which is a shame as I like him and Lana together.

I can see Will and Anna May together. She doesn’t seem to be getting any airtime at the moment. Same goes for Tanyel.

Think this series is shaping up well so far. Shame that not many peeps on here seem to be watching if this thread is anything to go by!

Usually there would be 30 pages thread by now as in previous series.

I am here and watching, I just find it very hard to get into every season!

It's early days but I'll definitely watch this dross to distract from my actual life!

Maybe the fact it’s Winter love island has a bearing? Or I guess people have just got fed up with it!

I think several seasons of the same identikit narcissistic back stabbing twats getting their 'heads turned' before embarking on a D rate celeb career of shit game shows, night club appearances and glossy mag interviews certainly has it's shelf life.

Not to worry, producers will find a new 'fresh' format with exciting new people and call it something like 'Passion Peninsula' or 'Amorous Archipelago' .

I'm still watching but at the moment just catch up the following day. I do question every year whether I'm really way too old to be investing my time on it 😂 Agree that this seems to be moving at a better pace already, everyone got a bit too settled too soon on the last one which affected how things rolled out. Think Will is going to end up getting the 'keeping a mate in' vote though.

Oh and forgot to say @Zampa, guys in pearls is a definite thing at the moment. I think Harry Styles has paved the way for men being far more open minded and adventurous with their style. I think it’s fab!

I saw it reported earlier that ITV are considering an older love island, for those 45 plus. I'd definitely watch that!

OMG Love Island for oldies would be bloody ace! They'd have to make sure it wasn't just slim perfect people though.

Haris is very grim in the way he speaks about women. He gives Yorkshiremen a bad name. And those brows, ugh.

Just heard viewers are down by a million compared to last summer and much lower than the previous winter love island in 2020.

As there's not much chatter anywhere I've started a couple of podcasts as I do enjoy other people's opinions.
