Looks like Love Island producers have announced that participants' social media will be locked whilst the programme airs. (Looking for reliable source, so far I can only find tabloid stories).
I hope it's true, I think it's needed.

It could have been edited to stoke. We didn't see all the Islanders' dares. So bits have definitely been cut and it won't have been a successive ile on.

But I've thought for a while that she's abrasive (and close to aggressive) and perhaps that's the Occam's Razor. People don't much like her, and aren't going to deflect on to someone else they like better.

Yes, I thought this too! She seemed to be cringing when Will was involved.

I'm pleased I'm not the only one to question Zara's behaviour. Her double standards & jealousy arent attractive. It's only a matter of time before Tom ditches her. I must be watching a different show to others... I struggle to understand how she's the victim, Olivia is going out of her way to provide Zara in this game however, I've not seen any direct personal attacks from Olivia to Zara yet Zara has twice made personal and direct insults towards Olivia.
Lana showed strength yesterday standing up to Ron, just ashame she gave him a kiss after setting him straight!

Last night, Lana showed how to be assertive without being combative. Zara should watch and learn.

A lot of my support for Zara came from a dislike of Olivia (I still don't like her) but it's getting harder to defend her. I didn't like the way Zara talked over Tanyel at all.

Zara always talks over people. She did the same thing to Olivia when they had that first chat to clear the air on the balcony.

I find Tom extremely attractive, both in looks and personality.

I think it would be personality, face, body order of preference to us fairly “normal” people but I think the islanders are broadly more shallow and looks focused and suspect either of the girls he was interested in would take it as an insult if he implied he liked their personality but not their looks. Lana was a good safe choice for that because she’s a sweetheart but there’s no sexual interest between them. Then he had to split face and body between Olivia and Zara otherwise there would have been tears. I can’t see any other way he could have done it tbh

Whilst Shaq's speech was commendable, I really hope he applies it to himself as well. It's very easy to talk the talk, then they go to Casa Amor and their dicks do the walk. It will be interesting!

I think Ron's getting a bit of a hard time tbh. Yes, he was wrong telling Lana 1 thing, then doing the opposite, but he was honest with her after. It's such a weird situation in there. On the outside, you wouldn't be exclusive from the get go, but neither would you have a line of applicants to interview for the post of your gf/bf. I really do think it's because he cares about Lana he wants to be 100%, rather than just taking advantage of all the female attention.

Can't wait for Sunday's ep, where Zara appears to have gone even more feral.

Yes, in hindsight bullied is too strong a word but she appeared to be singled out (based on the edit). I was really uncomfortable watching it.

The "based on what we've seen" comment from Aaron (without context) was weird. Has something happened we've not seen (and why wouldn't the producers show us) or is it to do with the pre show beef between Olivia/Zara (which is unsubstantiated so reasons can't be aired) or is Aaron trying to curry favour with Olivia?

Aaron gets zero screen time, seems interested in nobody and vice versa. Wonder why he went on?

I don’t like Zara but it’s nothing to do with race, she’s just doesn’t seem a very nice person. I don’t agree she’s being bullied, the other islanders probably dislike her because she talks to them like shit.

I’m also not buying Jessie liking Will, the ick is palpable, she’s questioning if the UK exposure and a potential boohoo deal is worth being pawed by the campest farmer in the villa for another month! I also don’t see the point in Aaron, he doesn’t seem to be interested in any of the girls, I forget he’s there half the time, wonder if he has a girl on the outside.

I love Shaq but worry Tanya will hurt him, he seems more into her. Tanyel isn’t arsed about Kai, just biding her time until bigger and better things come in. I love Lana, fuming with the audacity of Ron thinking he can do what he wants then just ‘win’ her back! I’m not sure on the new boy he seems a bit wooden, don’t think Olivia’s keen either, new girl seems interesting but I think we need some more new boys to stir it up, like she said if everyone’s closed off it’s going to be a bit boring!

I took Ron saying he'd win her back as he'd basically go crawling/begging as knows he's in the wrong, rather than he'd click his fingers and she'd come running.

It is always difficult for the bombshells. They either come in, go after who they want like Zara has and risk all the original islanders turning against them. Or they can do a Jessie and go for the poor sod no one else wants and be welcomed into the group. It’s a lose lose situation.

I don't think the issue here is Zara going after someone's man though. It's her possessive and entitled behaviour. She clearly doesn't mind stepping on toes, but if anyone dares step on hers it's a different story.

Another thing people are forgetting it's been less than 2 weeks and they are getting possesive etc, Lana crying etc is ott and Zara is a bunny boiler...Tom is scared! All the airtime at the minute is going to Zara Olivia Lana Ron and Tom I forget tanyel and kai are even there unless they're just boring bastards.
Fair play to Lana for standing her ground she will run back to him though!!

These contestants are very looks oriented.
I think both Olivia and Zara would have been offended if he had said he liked their personality as it would suggest that he is not sexually attracted to either of them.
Zara has a great body and Olivia has a cute face so I think he thought that he was in safe territory

It's such a heightened, intense atmosphere though in there, it must feel much longer.
