William "screamed and shouted" at Harry.

Ep5.
So that's the big accusation we've been waiting for.

Then a denial that he, Harry, denied William had bullied him and MM.

Denying that you denied it so implying it was true that William was bullying them?

Never liked William anyway. Hope he's never King.

An example of the manyies please.

Well here's one. In the engagement interview they said they didn't want to name the person who'd introduced them. They didn't want to embarrass her. Now they say they met on instagram. can both of those be true or is one version made up, and do they think the public has no memory?

Notmeagain23 · 16/12/2022 21:14

The whole thing from H&M is tone deaf. They sit telling ‘their truth’ from a mansion in the US, lamenting their misfortune in a documentary probably watched by people who have to make a choice between putting the heating on or having dinner. Strange that they don’t see this… and for this reason, I can’t stand them.

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 · 15/12/2022 15:15

Er, yes she is. As a mixed race person, we are always seen as black. Don't tell a person of colour they are 'not black'. That is one of the most deeply offensive, ignorant and racist comments you can make.

As a mixed race woman you do not speak for me.

We are not always seen as black. That may be your experience, but it certainly isn’t mine. Clearly you hang out with more ignorant people than I do.

browneyes77 · 16/12/2022 21:19

skippy67 · 15/12/2022 15:13

That's not your call to make though, is it?

It’s nobody’s call. It’s called simple genetics and biology.

She has a black parent and a white parent. Same as me. That makes her mixed race.

Those are the facts.

whynotwhatknot · 16/12/2022 21:32

noone hugged her wen they met! think of that people its just beyind words!

BaconChops · 16/12/2022 21:33

H&M need to do what they promised. Get lost, be quiet and live a life away from the Monarchy. They made Q Elizabeth’s last year one of suffering. Took advantage of their position and crapped all over the British institution that sets us apart from the rest of the world and an institution I’m proud to be a part of. You don’t air your grievances in public I mean a 2 bit actress and her uneducated prince - Jesus please strip them of any title they feel they’re entitled to and can make money from. Family is Family it’s as simple as that. They disgust me.

PurpleButterflyWings · 16/12/2022 21:36

Like a number of others on here, I don't believe this happened. (That Willz screamed and shouted at Harry.) There's quite a lot of what Hazza and Megz are saying that I am struggling to believe to be honest. Not saying it's ALL lies by the way, but some stuff is made up, some exaggerated, and some true. No way is everything they are saying all true.

PurpleButterflyWings · 16/12/2022 21:42

@BaconChops I have always like H & M from the minute they got together, and think she's gorgeous, and he's handsome and funny and easy going (well he was funny and easy going.) BUT he seems to have turned into a shadow of his former self and his smile never reaches his eyes. And it has only been since he left the UK for America. I know some will disagree, but this is how I see it. And regrettably, I agree with much of your post at 21.33.

Plunger · 16/12/2022 21:59

Poor little didum! Your brother shouted at you . Normal sibling behaviour in our house😅. Your house was too small. Did it suddenly shrink - you had been living the bachelor life there for a number of years and it was OK then. Didn't remember that your brother, wife and nephew lived there ?? Numpties

BaconChops · 16/12/2022 21:59

@PurpleButterflyWings I too used to like Harry, he was very much my fave royal after Diana but I feel he’s sold his soul. None of us will ever experience the wealth and privilege of the Royals but to be so brutal and entitled is a bitter pill for most of us ‘working brits’ at least try to be humble. No one is angry at your choice, be free and do your thing but the woe is me…..hard to take 🙄

What a surprise more Harry and Meghan bashing!!!
Seriously have any of you actually bothered watching the documentary? No I thought not!

Nobody should be subjected to the sheer level of hate that Meghan receives. Nobody deserves that!"

It's not a documentary .....it's a one sided account of two terrible wedge driving entitled people

Completely agree. Absolutely sick of them now and just wish they'd bugger off.

stacyvaron · 16/12/2022 22:17

If my brother shouting at me was the worst thing in my life, I'd count myself blessed.

MotherofKitties · 16/12/2022 22:25

I watched this with an open mind, and my conclusion is this; yes, she was subjected to a lot of hate and unfavourable comparisons in the media, some of which was borne out of racism (which is deplorable), but aside from any security threats that should be taken seriously, why read about yourself? There's bile out there but you don't have to read it; like social media it's there but you can choose not to engage or have it affect your life. Why give it any attention?

The issues regarding her father and half sister aside, the whole program came across as rather self indulgent and lacking in balance. I understand it's from their perspective, but it was hard to grasp how this has escalated to the situation it is now. If they'd taken the usual royal approach of ignoring the media all these issues that have consumed them would have gone away.

I don't believe that any of the palaces deliberately planted or leaked bad stories about Meghan because any negative publicity or gossip about any member - especially a senior member - of the family negatively affects the brand and the image of the royal family. Likewise I don't see how it can be true that Meghan wasn't allowed to seek help for her mental health; her husband was and is patron of multiple mental health charities - how can it be he couldn't or wasn't allowed to arrange help for his wife when he had access to the best healthcare and connections in the world? And in the Oprah interview he confirmed that the family didn't know about Meghans thoughts or what was going on, so if the family didn't know, and it was therefore some palace chap saying no you can't seek help, wouldn't you just ignore that and sort it yourself?

Overall I felt it was a real shame. They could have been a great asset to the royal family, but I understand not wanting to live in a goldfish bowl or having the constraints of royal life and wanting to be free from that - that's a more than reasonable desire, but the wish to have tax payer funded security when not full time working royals is not. I'm happy for them that they now have the life they wanted but I also hope they gain some perspective and take a step back - if the media and press causes this much stress and negativity for them, step away from it and ignore it. Otherwise, they'll just stay stuck in a cycle of negativity and victimhood with no one to blame but themselves.

The only satisfaction I get from the whole debacle is , thank God , the American media and people have finally realised that they are self obsessed, spoilt idiots.
Harry is eventually going to rue the day he met her.

Blossomtoes · 16/12/2022 22:36

antelopevalley · 16/12/2022 19:29

I think people have the right to tell friends about family arguments.

That’s slightly different to telling millions of people over six hours on Netflix.

I think she will rue the day she met him, and quite soon to be honest,

I just struggle to believe it. It’s like it’s mired in truth, but twisted and exaggerated. Like they told their stories so often that every time it changed a bit and then they believed it,

I just don’t buy William was screaming. I’m sure it got heated yes, but William screaming and harry terrified by it,the king lying, the queen watching on passively. Nah . I suspect it was a heated angry discussion, it’s very hard when you see a loved one self destruct and take a hugely foolish path and frustrations will come into play

I wonder what they will do now. The new book coming out is going to make it much worse for them, as we know already it’s much of the same shit as the series. Netflix leaked they correlated the two and found a lot of inconsistencies so they had to do a lot of rework so the series and book tied up. So it will be rehashed again.

if they turn up to the coronation it will be awful for them, I actually think they need to apologise publicly to their family and have Charles and William say no harm done, they were unde a lot of pressure , we love them and try to then move forward. Go to the coronation then and try to pretend it didn’t happen. They actually need the royal family to step in now and try to pull them out the hole they’ve dug.

meghan is already trying to distance herself from it,

Thisisnotreallymyname · 16/12/2022 22:48

@Diffuserqueen - in what way do you think Meghan is trying to distance herself from it ?

DaveGrohlsMrs · 16/12/2022 23:00

Harry saying that he was “terrified” of William “screaming and shouting” made me laugh. This from a man who has seen active service in Afghanistan…🙄

And went through Sandhurst - those sergeant majors shout all the time. And dream up unbelievable insults.

Powertoyou · 16/12/2022 23:05

Well it’s about time Harry listened to a few home truths. If he was my brother I’d be shouting at him as well.
With his new found freedom, life in America and new family , does he ever look happy and count his blessings? No.
And did Oprah really say she couldn’t believe that they lived in a hovel?
How rude of anyone to say that.

shockthemonkey · 16/12/2022 23:10

@Diffuserqueen - in what way do you think Meghan is trying to distance herself from it ?

Meghan said, re the Netflix series: “It's nice to be able to trust someone with our story—a seasoned director whose work I've long admired—even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it”

she later added: "We're trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens."

FrownedUpon · 15/12/2022 11:24

My sister and I have shouted at each other before in anger. We always make up. So what? Harry is just bitter and jealous. It’s very sad.

Which one of you was left bitter and jealous? His wife was treated like a piece of shit because she wasn’t of lily white skin . The poor man has every right to be bitter. He has made the best move removing his family from the vitriol of the British press and the arseholes that believe everything they read .
I remember being in Spain as a young woman during the Falklands war . All the red tops had “Kill the Argie Bastards”, as headlines. A group of elderly people were ‘yeah fuckin’ kill the lot of them’. Found out later not one of the group , approx 12, knew where the Falkland Islands were. Around 5 thought possibly off the coast of Scotland!!!! I sincerely hope there is the dissolution of this outdated, ridiculous and expensive family et al in my lifetime.

JohnPrescottsPyjamas · 16/12/2022 23:23

It’s the, ‘They did this, they said that, they made sure, someone told, someone took ’ etc etc.

Who exactly are ‘they and someone’?

If you’re going to make serious public allegations about individuals, you have have to name them - but H&M don’t or won’t, so to me that makes their assertions less credible. Their references to instances are all very nebulous and vague. After all, it’s not as if they’re even worried about causing a family rift, it’s well beyond that so they’ve nothing to lose. They, or their legal team, could easily identify a specific news source or SM platform and highlight clear and concise examples/evidence of what their grievances are about, but again they don’t. Instead they just waffle on about how awful everyone is to them.

If they’re telling the truth they have absolutely nothing to fear about a slander or libel case and it would send a strong message back to those they believe are guilty of victimising them both.

jamdonut · 16/12/2022 23:27

I don’t think the general public ever hated Meghan…most people were quite pleased with her arrival.
but , as usual, the media did its build up high thing, and then at the slightest whiff of ‘scandal’ , decide that’s enough and whipped the rug away from under her. It happens over and over again - not just the Royal Family.
Having said that, I think M & H are not helping themselves by doing this.

There are two sides to every story…. We are unlikely ever to hear the other side of this one. Not in my lifetime anyway.
