William "screamed and shouted" at Harry.

Ep5.
So that's the big accusation we've been waiting for.

Then a denial that he, Harry, denied William had bullied him and MM.

Denying that you denied it so implying it was true that William was bullying them?

Never liked William anyway. Hope he's never King.

I think I'd scream and shout at my brother if he pulled the stunts H&M did

GCAcademic · 16/12/2022 08:11

Indeed. As someone who isn't white, there is only one member of the royal family I'm aware of who has indulged in racist language and behaviour, and who I've been shocked and offended by (and I am not someone who is prone to taking offence) and that's Harry.

There's Princess Michael. Awful woman. Even the Queen didn't like her. Nor does Princess Anne.

PetuniaT · 16/12/2022 17:49

Talk about "From hero to zero". I used to think Harry was the best of the lot when he was leading his men in the fight against the Taliban in Afghanistan but now MM has turned him into a woke wuss. I see his parentage is being question again and if this was confirmed once and for all it could put an end to this Netflix "drama" and kick off another.

Palaver1 · 16/12/2022 17:58

Its a disaster the whole nonsense

I am guessing you do not really hope that William will pre-decease his father.

Ilikeredtoomuch · 16/12/2022 18:03

It’s all the Sun and Mail bullying them. It should not be allowed. Don’t read it. Don’t fall for it

Mandyjack · 16/12/2022 18:03

Don't think he actually said William bullied him. He was just recalling an encounter with his Dad and brother when they all met to discuss them leaving.

Mumkins42 · 16/12/2022 18:12

I'm honestly taken back by the bitterness and vitriol on here. I don't use MN much. Is this the norm? I am fervently anti monarchy for multiple reasons. I find it difficult to relate to M and H due to their wealth and privilege.

However... the way in which the media have mercilessly bullied, harassed and tormented this woman is so sickening. What's worse is the number of people jumping on the bandwagon buying into this media frenzy, calling her manipulative and all names under the son. Do any of you have daughter's? Mixed race daughter's? She absolutely has been treated as 'other' to the extreme by the media, I have no doubt what they say is true. We can see it with our own eyes if you read what the media has done here.

The context makes this more than just a brother screaming at his sibling. It's all that this represented. It was a demonstration that the name of the royal family ( if we believe Harry and M) was more important than the harassment and deadly bullying his younger brother and wife have been subject to. And they were spot on when they said this sort of thing is deadly. It is.

You don't have to like them to see how unpleasant this whole situation is - the media, the vile trolling, the gullibility, hate and bitterness so evident amongst the public.

Xenia · 16/12/2022 18:19

It would die down if they never spoke to the press and led a quiet life in ordinary jobs. They are choosing not to do so.

Ellflet · 16/12/2022 18:27

So what. My sister yelled at me four months ago and we're in our fifties! We hugged each other the last time we met. It happens sometimes. Harry is really scraping the barrel. Sold! To the highest bidder. Shame on him.

Tas1984 · 16/12/2022 18:27

Omg my ex used to do this. “This person said this to me…” I would have to be like “ok but what did YOU say” it’s half a story to suit a narrative of being a victim. Don’t assume Harry wasn’t saying anything back or even first. He’s just saying half a story to suit his version of events.

Annierob · 16/12/2022 18:36

Brothers do argue. Where’s the news in that?

Amabitnewhere · 16/12/2022 18:38

CornishGem1975 · 15/12/2022 11:28

Isn't it normal sibling behaviour? How is that bullying. Honestly sick of this cry-baby shit. Awww poor ickle Hawwwwwy, shouted at by his big brother. Grow a fucking pair.

You sound nice

Isinglass20 · 16/12/2022 18:40

Meghan life experience is based on her role as an actor. She thought that by marrying into a european royal family she would be a ‘star’ in that family. Harry didn’t understand that. Meghan is aggrieved because she thought she would be another Grace Kelly rather than a Mrs Simpson.
Two royal brothers/siblings falling out is/was the history of nearly all royal families since time immemorial. Elizabeth and Mary, wars of the roses, king John, the Georgians , Diana and her brother and mother come to mind.
Meghan’s history education was predominantly about the US. She knows and understands nothing about Europe see Henry James Portrait of a lady, the Europeans

WHAT (and I mean this very intently) THE FUCK are you on about

AcrossthePond55 · 16/12/2022 18:44

As far as William 'shouting', I used to work with a person who was so entitled that the minute you told them something they didn't want to hear, ie we don't do XX here, your leave is denied, don't eat other's snacks, would first try to DARVO you and when that didn't work would then burst into (loud) tears and tell the person talking to them to 'stop SHOUTING at me!!!!' and put on a 'terrified' face. No one was shouting, no voices were raised. They just couldn't handle being told 'no' and viewed the person telling them as being 'aggressive' just for saying it.

I'm not saying W isn't capable of shouting if provoked enough, most of us are. But I do think that H has been spoilt living a life of extreme privilege, and probably doesn't 'do well' in being told 'no'.

We're never going to know the truth. The palace is stuck with their usual 'no comment' and I don't trust either H or M to tell the unvarnished truth since they know they won't be contradicted.

wentworthinmate · 16/12/2022 18:48

Harry will say he has PTSD from this now! Whinging spare and his hag. Cry me a river in a few years when she divorces Harry and makes another reality/doc about her terrible life with him.

Evan456 · 16/12/2022 18:50

I don’t know why people are even watching it, don’t watch it and Netflix will drop them for not making enough profit, and who cares anyway about the spoiled brat

Wonkymuvva · 16/12/2022 18:54

We are only hearing one side of the situation, never make a judgement until you have heard both

threatmatrix · 16/12/2022 19:03

You believe Meagain and nutcase Harry over the lovely Kate and William? Oh dear she must be a good actress.

bellocchild · 16/12/2022 19:13

Hard to believe that Harry spent several years as a soldier...

Kate? Yes, I think she is - she’s had to become one to survive the RF.

I think all 4 of them are very good at portraying the image they want to put forward in public and I think all of the public images are as honest or dishonest as the others.

I can’t image any way you could survive the way the RF (particularly the married in women) are treated without having a public persona to pull around yourself every time you set foot in public.

Longleggedgiraffe · 16/12/2022 19:16

My sister aired some of our dirty linen in public. I screamed and yelled at her. It's called families.

antelopevalley · 16/12/2022 19:23

@Longleggedgiraffe Airing family dirty laundry in public is a concept that stops people talking out about abusive and toxic family relationships. There should never be things happening that you cant tell other people about.

musingsinmidlife · 16/12/2022 19:24

I do think Harry and Meghan fell in love - at least with what the other person represented and hopefully with each other as people. I can't see Meghan sticking it out long term. I think she will get bored or be disappointed or feel held back by Harry and at some point strike out on her own. Right now she is still Harry's wife in many ways because he was the more famous one from the famous family. It is always about both of them and I think she will want the spotlight.
