Probably a wig, I did notice when they showed his brother that the brother is totally bald. I think it’s really unfair of the show to put someone together with a 51 year old that still lives with his parents. They should be weeding anyone out like this, everyone has negatives but anything major should rule people out (and this is a major problem).

His brother was loads taller and a completely different build as well though, so it’s entirely possible one would have hair and the other not…

Hang on, what have you all been watching? I watched something which only had two couples on and was just at the start of lockdown. It was on the main page on All 4 and I completely fell for it!

There are many different seasons spread out across many different countries.

I think the US one only had a few couples.

Since the start of lockdown there has been several new seasons

I also very much hope the secret isn't that they are a trans woman. Though looks wise they appear not. If they were becoming a trans man that would also be very inappropriate to marry someone whilst going through that process.

I looked at her Insta and she shares a photo of herself as a young girl, so not trans. Going by the standard of the previews so far I think it's safe to assume that the producers have encouraged her to worry too much about something that isn't a big deal.

Maybe it's that she's a vegan. Or she might have kissed a guy once.

Being gay = not a big deal
Being straight = not a big deal
Being bi = uncertain/confused/undecided 🙄🙄

Apparently bi women can't ever have relationships with either sex without "picking a side" and it being a big deal

I just binged this yesterday and knew there would be a thread! Glad I found you all.
I thought the big secret might be she was bi although the wig also seems plausible. April is so pretty and so deluded but her best friend is fab. Every time Whitney speaks, I try to remember who she sounds like. Is it someone from The Windsors?

Nah he was in a rock band and had huge hair back in my day. Pretty popular band in my time. You always find these old school rockers have weird hair dos. (DH included 😂)

With Jess it was more annoying that her mum made such a big deal out of her having ambition and needing someone the same, then they both get in a tizz about him
not being able to provide for her. ‘A man will look after me’ isn’t ambition Jess’s mum!

They didn't say as far as I remember. They showed him with a guitar in what I thought was a music store, so I wondered whether he ran a music shop. Snooping on Instagram I can see that he had a Reiki practice in 2020, but nothing about it in 2021.

Talking about wigs .. I think the 2 girls are next and one of them has a secret ? I did wonder if the long haired girl was wearing a wig ? Would be typical of the producers to turn it into a massive drama , could she have alopecia ? And struggle to share with her new wife ..

I thought Jenna was wearing a wig too! I watched her in a E4 promo video and her hair parting reminded me of a wig. Obviously there's no shame in wearing a wig though, I'm simply being nosy.

PJ seems a nice enough guy and so does Richie (in a bit of a cliched old rocker kind of way) but both of them still living "at home" with parents would be a massive turn off for me if I were their brides! Just huge.

Sad to see that Lara hadn't seen her parents for 5 years. That's a bit extreme if they are a close family. Canada isn't a million miles away.

I also noticed that April didn't seem close to her Dad (he said "hello stranger" when she walked into the cafe) and she didn't have many guests on her side at the wedding.

Just like last year, I'm already fuming at the ixperts smugly congratulating themselves on the matches when none of them make any sense at all to me! (with the exception of Chanita and her bloke I suppose).
