I can't wait. Series 1 was absolutely delightful - I'm so looking forward to it and I seem to have developped a crush on Samuel West.

Donald Sinclair's second wife was called Audrey and they were married for 53 years - so I have hopes for Siegfried and Audrey (Mrs H) too.

And I think Helen would need to be quite tough after the loss of her mother and growing up as the daughter of a tenant farmer.

Helens dad(the actor) will always be Archie from Emerdale.

Really can't see Siegfried and the housekeeper together - maybe because in my mind she's still the nice elderly lady in the books!

I love the Mrs Hall character, loved the scene at Darrubuy fair and she used the gun to win the toy bear for Helens little sister. Loved the line 'What do you think we were up to in the wrens?'
Loved the background story to Mrs Hall - a strong and very intelligent person who held a position of responsibility. Calm and fair person.

How many episodes are there in series 2 please? As I havnt seen the episode with Helen in the white and red dress.
