Changing Rooms tonight. Anyone watching?

I’m so excited to see the return of Changing Rooms tonight on Channel 4. I used to love watching the show in the ‘90s with my mum when I lived at home. I remember doing some very dodgy stencilling in my mum’s front room after being inspired by a makeover!

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will in it so there should be some extreme makeovers. Will anyone else be watching?

In the original the teams wore coloured t shirts and the designers did their own thing - I seem to remember Graham Wynne used to wear a boiler suit.

There was none of this Tibby prepping complicated woodwork in advance malarkey.

I missed the first programme and only caught the last half of last nights so I didn’t know who was who. Was that pair of camp men who did the multicoloured marloleum monstrosity the actual designers?! Shock
Where would you even begin trying to turn that room back into something habitable?! Shock

LLB's room was liveable (apart from the nontv). The other room just needs a match taking to it, it was awful.

I agree with the posters who say that those two men are there just to take the piss out of people. They are not there to help people.

I think LLB'S would have been better without the panelling and a nicer shade on the blue walls. Not poster paint blue.

Really liked the panelling effect in the blue room and wood effect LLB is a talented painter

LLB's room turned out quite nice, I liked it. The other one would have been OK without the shitty smear. Both rooms had their precious photos and artefacts removed but, at least, they left the TVs this week
