Changing Rooms tonight. Anyone watching?

I’m so excited to see the return of Changing Rooms tonight on Channel 4. I used to love watching the show in the ‘90s with my mum when I lived at home. I remember doing some very dodgy stencilling in my mum’s front room after being inspired by a makeover!

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will in it so there should be some extreme makeovers. Will anyone else be watching?

Why is LLB's face on the back of their door!? Why did they paint the outside of the bedroom door blue? And those clay chains, what was that all about?

In what way would the vocal audience be missing the point?

Puts me off Dulux paints - being associated with this cr*p.
How insulting to the majority of viewers to think they could palm off stupid attention seeking wackiness as good tv.

Anyone watching tonight's programme? I swore I wouldn't after last week but I tuned in to see what monstrosity both teams would be involved in today and I've not been disappointed!

I'm watching The Repair Shop which is, perhaps, the complete antithesis of Changing Rooms.

I'm watching. Quite liking the ice cream colours. Just not on the walls 🤣

Blimey, it’s on my screen with the sound off. I’ve just glanced up to see a monstrosity of a living room. Green and white stripes (reminds me of chewy mints as a kid, can’t remember the name of them) along with a blue wall and some weird orange wall.

I would be gutted if I came home to find that! Can’t see how it can be any better once it’s finished.

Marloneum on the walls? This is awful! Did they learn nothing from the previous series?

LLB's room is looking better than last week's

Watching this now and feel like I've stepped back into the 90s.

Sort of half watching, the hexagonal lined stuff made my eyes go funny, it was like one of those optical illusion things

They've given them a marloleum sofa!!!

First time watching and then just last 15 minutes. So glad that the owner was honest - completely agree about the funeral curtains. I hate the other room, but then I don’t know what they were asked for.

Definitely better than last weeks imho!

That lino sofa looks really uncomfortable

I'm crying with laughter! The second one!! Why would you want a continuous stretch of marloleum from floor to ceiling and over the SOFA?! Hilarious.

I that their only living room? That sofa/ bench will be so uncomfortable. I also think LLB didn't like the mirror once it was finished so he hid it behind massive leaves.

I also hated the ombre walls - they just weren't done properly. It looked like they had rising damp.

I reckon they showed the most extreme rooms first so that it got talked about a lot. This week's did seem a bit less ridiculous!

I bet Dulux are not happy. They used the blue paint then covered it up in lino. This really isn't a great showcase for Dulux.
