Anyone else watching? More plot holes than a colander. Could be such a good story, but the writing is so lazy. Yet another Kay Mellor drama featuring Gaynor Faye.

I had never heard of the series before this one. I was hoping the first 3 would be on iplayer but they are not. I like it; it so bad that it's good!

Its disappointing, previous series were reasonable but this is terrible. The plot, such as it is, is awful.

This is diabolical. We now consider it a fab hour of predictable comedy and thoroughly enjoy taking the piss out of it.

The previous series were much more reasonable and watchable.

For me it's the sunk cost fallacy and also because I am still hoping it will get better. I did really enjoy the last three series so this one is very disappointing.

@quizqueen the previous series were nowhere near as bad as this. S1 and S2 are on Britbox and S3 is on another streamer, can't remember which.

I know this sounds really snobby, but it seems very ITV for a BBC serial. But then I don't understand why Murder in Paradise ever made it into production.

I'm quite enjoying it, it's easy watching like Midsomer Murders is, a bit ridiculous in parts but quite good, It took me a while to recognise that it was Joe Sugg that was playing the boyfriend.

I quite like it. In that it’s completely rubbish and full of plot holes, but it’s very easy watching and takes no brain power and doesn’t cause me and emotion (excitement, fear, happiness, sadness...). It’s completely bland, which is quite nice after the past year! Also I need to rest my brain after the brilliant Line of Duty!

Although I just read all about KM’s Family after reading this thread. My word- there’s nepotism and then there is this family! She even gave parts to her grandchildren in the past. It’s shocking!

The plot twists can seen a mile off! I like spotting them and showing off as dc think I'm sooooo clever.

Oh apparently she doesn't - Gaynor and her children Oliver and Lily Mae Pickering have to audition in exactly the same way as all the other actors, and have the same nail biting wait to see if they have been cast.

I am actually surprised to hear that Kay Mellor didn't script Dancing on Ice 2011!
