I saw a trailer for this the other evening but DC were running around and being loud so I missed most of it. Does anyone know when it’s starting please? I don’t want to miss it as it’s brilliant!

And Susan Lynch is the real life wife of the guy who plays Dot in Line of Duty. Another series back soon...yay!!!

Talking of acting families, the actor who plays Geoff is Daniel Flynn, brother of Jerome and Johnny.

Nicola and Sanjeev (just adore him in this) are so real and it's probably my favourite programme. Took a while to get back into it tonight but really love the series. Poor Sunny seems to never be fully content as Cass is struggling. She's fantastic in this.

Fourth is the guy who went to visit his elderly mother and who went to his baby's scan.

Liz White who is playing the therapist was in Life on Mars, and Line of Duty.

Body found in a freezer after 30 years. He went missing on the night the freezer owner was arrested for drink driving and is also now dead. On the night of the drink driving there were 4 others in the car. They were all newly qualified police officers and had been celebrating.
NW has been on sick leave but has returned for 3 months until she can retire. She now has a boyfriend. Her dad has alzheimers
SB and daughters are about to move in with his girlfriend.

So glad it's back, love Nicola W, but don't think her new hairstyle suits her as much. Loved hearing that theme song .

I don't have any theories yet about why Matthew was killed and why but I hope it's not something boring like Ram killed him in provocation and the other three covered it up.

Is Cassie's Dad going to remove her from his will? I thought at the start he was going to be in a residential care home not living with his partner.

I think they might have ran him over by accident and they all covered it up.

I think they're going to go down the football hooligan/racism angle. But that could turn out to be a red herring.

Unforgotten is a drama that doesn't seem to follow a standard 'whodunnit' formula for its seasons. As far as I recall (SPOILER ALERT for those who've not watched the previous three):

Series 1 - guilty party was the jealous wife whose DH was having a gay love affair with the victim (and she wasn't a suspect at all!);

Series 2 - the suspects all committed each others' 'murders' to cover for abuse as youngsters (and the cops turned a blind eye in the end);

Series 3 - ruthless psychopath manipulated fellow suspects to appear guilty but confesses in the end.

So goodness knows how this one will unfurl. Wonder how long before they find the missing head .

I'm doubting my memory from series 1, but has every series so far ended up with more than one murder committed?

I think i will give last nights episode a watch before next week as i read an actor would be appearing on IMDb in ep1 but i don't remember seeing him at all.

Yes there were multiple murders in the previous three series's.

Why was Nicola Walker off sick? Was she really that traumatised by her last case? She does seem to be extremely emotional about her work- I'm not sure that's a good thing in a detective.
