I saw a trailer for this the other evening but DC were running around and being loud so I missed most of it. Does anyone know when it’s starting please? I don’t want to miss it as it’s brilliant!

I thought the 124k was the shortfall in pension (as in her total pension pot) not her yearly pension

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/02/2021 12:26

Yes it was. Just ,want she was considering not to work for 3mtgs and lose £124

timegoesbysoslowly · 25/02/2021 12:49

My new favourite show, god knows how I missed this one and binged watched the last 3 series in a week.

Now have to wait a whole week for next episode, how will I cope! Quite easily as I have rubbish memory and forgotten the cliffhanger in episode 1 already.

But adore Nicola Walker, off to watch her other shows as only seen The Split, Last Tango In Halifax

diddl · 25/02/2021 16:46

@Blondeshavemorefun

So the 4 in car were

Dad with the sn son dancing

Susan lynch with bitch mum

Ginger dad and mum therapist

And ?

I have a mind blank. Or is that where the scan couple come in

I think it was just the "mum therapist"-not her husband.

The 4th was Ram who was at a scan with his wife.

So the guy whose freezer the body was in was the driver?

And none of them knew that he had died so that they could try to move the body??

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 25/02/2021 17:03

@diddl hmm I'm not sure. I thought it was the guy whose house had been cleared out who was driving? However, age-wise it would rather suggest that the victim was the driver?

BentBastard · 25/02/2021 17:07
@diddl hmm I'm not sure. I thought it was the guy whose house had been cleared out who was driving? However, age-wise it would rather suggest that the victim was the driver?
I the think the house clearer made a mistake on his age because I said to husband he's too younge to be the killer because house clearer said he was 40 which would have made him 10 but later they said he has been at his passing out party.

BentBastard · 25/02/2021 17:08

What I was poorly saying was that although house clearer said he was only 40, he must have been about 8-10 years older than that.

margoyuwer · 25/02/2021 17:32

I thought they said late forties

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 25/02/2021 17:34

That would fit - aged 20/21 when 'passed out' then? Thanks.

Macaronirabbit · 25/02/2021 17:54

Yes they said late 40s.
I think the victim was the driver and the other 4 were passengers.
I thought at cas interview they said she could retire at 50.(if she completed the last 3 months... which made 30 years service)

When they first said passing out party, I thought they menat the army, and then the penny dropped.

BentBastard · 25/02/2021 17:55

Ah, I misheard. Thanks.

margoyuwer · 25/02/2021 18:34

I thought they were meaning army/navy/raf too i didn't know passing out term was used for police. Does Susan Lynch character live with her Mum or was she just visiting ?

Labobo · 25/02/2021 18:36

I've just realised something - I never saw Series 3. First ep of series 4 is good.

margoyuwer · 25/02/2021 18:49

Labobo I think series 3 is still on itv hub.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 25/02/2021 18:57

Don't think Susan Lynch character does live with her DM given the comments of her girlfriend/fiancee.

diddl · 25/02/2021 19:42

"I think the victim was the driver and the other 4 were passengers."

So who was the guy who died & whise house was cleared out?

Rillington · 25/02/2021 19:48

Robert Fogerty was the driver and the newly qualified police officer. The freezer was collected from his property.

FawnDrench · 25/02/2021 19:50

I don't think the victim was the driver!
The driver had recently died, and it was him who had the freezer the body was found in.

The driver (and presumably the 4 passengers) were stopped by the police and the driver cried his eyes out because he was over the limit and his career as a policeman was ruined. This was revealed in the last scenes of episode 1.

Also - The freezer wasn't manufactured until the mid 90s according to Sunny so the body was stored elsewhere after the "incident" in 1990.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 25/02/2021 19:52

Yes, clocked the whole carer conversation but didn't realise she lived in. They seem quite affluent given the house and location (Cambridge is not cheap!).

Rillington · 25/02/2021 19:52

The body is Matthew Walsh a Millwall fan.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 25/02/2021 19:53

The freezer they showed didn't look large enough to contain an adult male body albeit minus head. Wonder where that's going to show up...

Macaronirabbit · 25/02/2021 19:53

Sorry ^ yes what you said @FawnDrench.
This is why I need my phone when I'm watching stuff like this, to check I'm following!

I laugh at Jenny on gogglebox with her notepad when shes watching line of duty but I'm just as bad!😂

Macaronirabbit · 25/02/2021 19:54

DH is no help. He falls asleep for most large chunks of it!
