It’s cold, dark and there’s a pandemic but one bright light is the new series of drag race tomorrow. The last series was so joyful and really put British drag back on the map. I hope this series is just as good Already love Ginny Lemon, who are your picks to win

LC can barely dance. Or sing. Or write lyrics. They're a stand up and that's not really all rounder is it?
But then, hasn't there long been the suggestion that Ru is not a huge supporter of the trans/non binary community?
BBBs runway was so Madonna in Like a Virgin, stunning.
LED was dull
Tayce is just drop dead gorgeous.
I think LED will disappear, but the other 3, plus Awhora and Veronica will go further. BBB has already been courted by Vivianne Westwood and Moschino amongst others. Can see some androgynous modelling for them

Same here. Absolutely loved BBB and wanted them to win. I also had a soft spot for Tayce- the outfits were never great but they had such a great attitude and sense of humour. LC did not deserve to win in my opinion. They came across as bitter at times, a bit if a bully and not that funny at all. Very disappointed with the result but RuPaul was always quite smitten with LC. Fuck knows why. I have enjoyed the ride though!

I'm in total agreement with the others. Love Tayce, thought BBB would win, but not surprising LC won. I too think Ru had a soft spot.
Not to say I don't like LC, I do.
Deffo agree its better than series one. Arguably I think Baga Chips has done more in terms of commercial success than The Vivienne and always came across as a nicer person...

I think BBB, Tayce, A'whora will all continue to do well.

LED is just lacking something for me.

I've preferred the guest judges this season, and the bits to camera by the queen's were hysterical.
Thought Alan Carr was so good too.

Will miss this so much as my Thursday treat !
May start watching the American ones ...

I was really hoping Bimini would win. Thought A'Hora (that name is so grim tho!) would be in the top 3. BBB is like a little elf!

I'm sad for Tayce and Bimini - I think either of them deserved to win.

I watched Tayce doing an Instagram live on Saturday. They were walking around shops trying to find a copy of the Guardian as the finalists were in the Weekend magazine. Only Tayce didn't realise that the Weekend magazine was a supplement in the newspaper and was looking for a magazine called Guardian Weekend. It just made me see how young and sweet they are. They even asked in several shops and said "no, not the Guardian newspaper, the Guardian Weekend magazine the Weekend one." I just wanted to squeeze their hand and take them back into WH Smiths. But they were just so excited to see the cover and the article.
Such a sweetheart and a fabulous dancer/lipsync assassin.

Bimini was amazing - beautiful, creative, talented, intelligent.

LED surprised me tonight and I would have liked to have seen her in the top 3.

Lawrence is Lawrence. Well done, just not my cup of tea.

I'd never watched drag race until this series and I've absolutely loved every minute. My heart broke a little when Veronica couldn't return, I was worried about how she would handle it but it was fab to see her tonight. I really hope she comes back for another go next year. It was nailed on for LC early doors, but I was hoping for a BBB win. Time to sashay away... Until next time Queens

Tayce wuz robbed when it came to the main challenge, they nailed it (same as the Eurovision choreo). Had it been a weekly challenge they'd have won it.
It was so set up for a BBB journey storyline that I was pleasantly surprised by LC winning...I had thought they had been hobbled by a song and dance number and found myself rooting for them.
BBB's bridal number was nice but her speeches were a bit bland and A'whora having a similar dress neckline and sleeves detracted from the outfit (am amazed she wasn't told to wear something else actually).
I think Tayce did the best lipsync. Had BBB been able to jump off something into a straight split they might have repeated their Euro moment but Tayce has verve.
All that said, LC had an interesting take on drag race with their dress and it was nice to see a plus-size comedy queen win and Scotland represented.
The UK Kingdolls tour selling out, BBB having a single out as well as Tia, Cameo videos earning a bob or two, model assignments for BBB/A'W/Tayce - they'll all come out of it better than when they went in. Lawrence was marmite on here but added to the show and I certainly don't begrudge them their win although from what I understand from tinternet it's divided opinion as BBB topped most polls (but she got seven quid out of me last weekend despite in her show only lipsyncing twice so I'm over it already ).
Did anyone watch The Vivienne's prize show on iplayer, is it worth my while?!

I was a little surprised that LC won over BBB, but I like LC, so its all good. One thing to remember is that its Ru's decision alone, and the winner doesn't really receive that much more than the runners up.

I was a little confused by the critique that LED got though, last night and the week before. That she's had no growth? That they expected more because of her previous looks? Sounded more like they were struggling for negatives as its a little unfair to say someone's better than a other person because they had growth yet the other person was always at that level.

I do agree that LED was missing something compared to few of the others though, confidence and sassieness I think.

I really hated both of Tayce's outfits, and I think she's a better queen than they showed, her performance was good though.

I didn’t think BBB lip sync was up to much, Tayce slays in a lip sync.

BBB looked like a winner, but I think Ru loved LC from the start.

If it weren’t for the the lockdown break I don’t think BBB would have got very far. Something magical happened in lockdown for BBB amd im sure she will go far.

Glad Tayce got to the final 3. I do love Tayce.

The thing that consoles me here is that winning Drag Race doesn't matter all that much. What matters is winning the fans (thinking of last week's elimination in DRUS especially). BBB will go far anyway but it's a shame they didn't take the crown.

We really thought BBB would win. I loved Tayce, they were stunning but also more fun and laid back about the competition. But their looks were always quite similar -leotard or body suit type outfits although if I had a figure like that I'd probably wear a leotard the whole time to That's where BBB was different and really creative with the runway looks, but also funny. But LEDs make up was the best.

I noticed that too. I wondered if she was going to do something on her dress because the way she put it in front of where seemed important. Next shot it was behind Tayce.

Yes apparently so according to the Guardian. I was so surprised at LC winning last night I wondered for a second if they had played the wrong ending!
