Is anyone else looking forward to this? Once it finishes, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier starts, and then Louise after that. After 2020 being a Marvel-less year I am quite excited for a big dose of MCU escapism.

@iklboo yes I know that he’s Quicksilver. I think what I was trying to say was that Agatha could have just had some random guy pretending to be Pietro but she has pulled another version of him from somewhere (x men universe) so it confirms all the multi verse stuff which is exciting. I guess this also means that Wanda is the first official mutant in the MCU as she had her powers before she was exposed to an infinity stone.
And I loved the Quicksilver slo-mo scenes in the X men films. It’d be great if they squeezed one of those into WandaVision. This final episode will need to be 3 hours long to include everything we want!

Have people seen the promo photo from the last episode? I won’t say what’s in it as it’s a mild spoiler I guess.

Oh and the Jarvis thing reminds me- in Ultron JARVIS was floating around virtually before getting a body and becoming Vision.
Could Vision’s consciousness still be out there somewhere and that’s why Wanda couldn’t feel him? I’m still hoping she can have him back somehow. I don’t want her to have to accept his death and move on (again)

Yes, roll on Friday. All I need to do is drop DS at preschool then I'm free to watch it at 8.40am, wahoo, then pretend to DH i haven't seen it and rewatch it at 9pm.

I think there would be a small hole in my life once it ends if I didn't have Falcon and TWS to look forward to. I'll be bereft when Loki is over!

I have really loved this series, its a shame its ending on Friday

I'm still wondering if there will be an even bigger baddie involed as Imo Agatha even though she isn't technically good she isn't supposed to be really bad either.
And as this series is supposed to set up Dr Strange's film then I'm inclined to think something higher up is meddling as well.

I had to watch age of ultron again and it amazing what things you miss the first time around.

I'm amazed at how marvel manage tie them all together so nicely.

I'm looking forward to all the other series coming out though, esp Loki.

I started Agents of Shield (twice) and Agent Carter but couldn’t really get into them. I’ll give Falcon a go though and I’m really looking forward to Loki. ☺️

Agents of shield started really well they just went nuts. Stopped watching after Ward went. DP just finished it all and I caught the last episode. Glad I didn't bother. Dragged on too long.

I liked Agent Carter because it was a bit different but there should've been more series.

Agents of shield got muddled around Ward but I did really like the characters ( want to be agent May with her moves 😳).

Loved Agent Carter.

The promo photo was on Twitter. I saw it when I was scrolling through #WandaVison which has its own emoji that has changed to match the era each week- very cute!

I normally read the plot summary of each episode before watching. I have no idea what I'm going to do this week. I half want to know the ending, but if it's sad, I then won't want to watch the episode. But at the same time, I'm not sure I can watch the episode without knowing the ending first.
I just can't see how this has a happy ending. If Hayward's Vision survives, I can't see him being the same Vision that Wanda knew and fell in love with. He's going to be an emotionless robot. It's one thing for someone you love to have died, but for them to have come back to life and not only have no idea who you are anymore or have any capacity for emotion? That's got to be worse, surely?
For me it's even worse because Friday would have been my DF's birthday. I'm gonna need tissues. Lots and lots of tissues.

I have two problems with the series and what we’ve seen so far. One I thought myself and one I’ve seen someone else ask:

In Ep 3 or 4 we saw Darcy looking at Hayward’s computer and asking what the signal was coming that was being traced from Westview - the answer being that he was tracking Visions vibranium signature. But now we know that Vision was never physically in Westview, so that can’t be right - there was no vibranium to track so what was he tracking?

In Ultron Pietro says that the Stark bomb hit their home whilst they were having dinner. But in Wanda’s flashback they were all watching TV - so which was it?

Hayward lies about everything so that doesn’t trouble me.

The twins were 10, and we were seeing Wanda’s memory rather than the actual event, she would have been more focused on the TV watching as that was her thing, maybe Pietro remembered the food more.

Yes I was going to say the same about the second point. They may not have been having dinner or watching TV, the twins may just have remembered feeling safe and content then remembered the bombs hitting, and as the human brain hates an empty space it would have filled in a memory appropriate to the emotion. That happens a lot in real life.

Perhaps they were tracking Wanda's energy? The most concentrated amount of energy would be in the person she created from scratch, WestviewVis, not the people she's just done an upgraded glamour spell on. But Hayward is evil anyway, so fuck whatever he says.

What I do like is how this episode gave Wanda agency over joining Hydra. Before this, it looked like she fit neatly into the 'brainwashed to do bad shit by the evil side' trope (see Black Widow and the red room people, Captain Marvel and the Kree), but this episode shows she made a free choice to walk in there and to let them experiment on her. Nice for a female character to be fully accountable for her own dodgy past.

Depends on how she created him I guess. Maybe part of the creation is vibranium.

She's definitely able to create or at least transform, Monica's clothes for example, so I think she could recreate Vision, vibranium and all.
The energy used when creating him was yellow rather than red, and she saw the mindstone in the flashback when she got her powers, so I think he is the genuine Vision recreated from the mindstone.
The only question in my mind is why he can't then survive outside Westview. Other things she's created can e.g. the clothes again or the transformed truck.
The only thing I can think is that those had a baseline matter to be transformed whereas Hex Vision was pure energy. I'm not sure the logic holds up for that but perhaps somehow merging with White Vision will give him the physical form he needs to survive outside of it.

I still think the scene where Hayward let Wanda see them cutting up vision was a set up to manipulate her into resurrecting him. He clearly already had the new one build and it had been 5 years.

He has the body without the battery pack.

I thought he was trying to get her to bring him back. She waited so long to get in as they set it up

When Monica first meets him she says he looks ‘old as hell’.

I'm also loving this fan. Always been a massive Scarlet Witch fan so I'm glad we're finally starting to see her come into her own and be the powerful badass she is in the comics. Her comic costume might be one of my favourite so can't wait to see what brought to life.

As far as what's going to happen... it might be wishful thinking, but I don't think Vision will die again. Wanda has already watched him die twice. They made a thing of Hex Vision having all the warmth and personality of the original Vision and now we have a conveniently empty shell with no personality in White Vision. I'm thinking Wanda will amalgamate the two.

Either that or he will die (again!) and Wanda will get to give him a proper funeral which will give her the closure she needs. I don't want this to happen though because I LOVE Paul Bettany and there's something so sweet and endearing about Vision. That flashback scene where they were in the Avengers complex was pure love.

I do wonder if their children will somehow be lost by the end of the the series. I don't think they'll die... but Wanda has to be in Doctor Strange 2 for a reason and I wonder if it's to find her children. So I think maybe Agatha (or Memphisto if rumours are correct) zaps them away into another universe and Wanda then wants to find then. Perhaps. I really have no idea.

I am so excited for Friday. I have a (free!) gin tasting through work in the evening, and WandaVision in the morning. I’ve literally been counting the days. This is the most excitement I’ve had through all of lockdown 🤣

But also its the last day of homeschooling and I will be celebrating that with a few drinks myself.

I don't know about Vision, in the last spiderman which was set after wandavision they had Vision being paid homage to so leads me to think he will die again.
Hope im wrong though as I really do love vision and poor Wanda has been through enough.

I'm hoping that because Steve Rogers was also featured in the "in memoriam" scene - and we know he didn't actually die during the events of Endgame - that means what we saw doesn't necessarily mean Vision is dead.

Keeping my fingers crossed he is brought to life and he's either keeping his head down and trying to live his best life, or perhaps he gets lost in another universe and Wanda will go looking for him in DS2. I just feel she's suffered so much. She can't watch Vision die a THIRD time.
