Is anyone else looking forward to this? Once it finishes, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier starts, and then Louise after that. After 2020 being a Marvel-less year I am quite excited for a big dose of MCU escapism.

Omg omg.

Amazing episode.

MrsToddsShortcut · 26/02/2021 11:01

I saw Ian McKellan (in Lear a couple of years ago) and it was as incredible as you might imagine.

Saw David Tennant a couple of times and was struck by how incredibly charismatic he was on stage but have never seen Patrick Stewart on stage. I would love to so much.

And I have also watched today's episode and now have to wait until 10 tonight for further discussion! What I will say though, is that it is 45 minutes long.

MrsToddsShortcut · 26/02/2021 11:02

And Amy Omg yes.

NovemberNameChangeYeahBaby · 26/02/2021 11:32

I managed to get it watched on the morning break from my course Grin and there is an important mid credit scene too.

It wasn't my very favourite episode...

I went to sneak it in before preschool pick up at midday but found it was finally a longer episode so wouldn’t have time
Going to watch it later now but checking in

Can’t believe next week is the last one though.

Figgygal · 26/02/2021 19:09

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 26/02/2021 19:29

How is there only one episode left?! Was a bit unsure on the first episode but as its gone on..wow and today's....

Read someone's theory on who the actor was Paul Bettany always wanted to work with...could be right after the mid credit scene lol

TheDrsDocMartens · 26/02/2021 20:24

This is such a roller coaster.

CannotOperateOnThisFailure · 26/02/2021 20:36

Ooooooh.

CharlW1 · 26/02/2021 21:49

Loved it! Definitely watch to the end of the credits, those who have yet to see it. Can't wait to see everyone's views on this episode. I can't believe there is only 1 left!

APurpleSquirrel · 26/02/2021 22:01

Great episode - love how this is basically Wanda's origin story but played out on tv & not as a film. It helps to flesh out her character & back story.

Mrsjayy · 26/02/2021 22:06

Oh I said it. Was her Origins story,

NovemberNameChangeYeahBaby · 26/02/2021 22:06

I've changed my mind on second viewing. That was a great episode. Huge emotional impact. Cannot wait for next week.

Mrsjayy · 26/02/2021 22:09

I think Ill watch it again .

Whatsnewpussyhat · 26/02/2021 23:15

I found it quite dull tbh. Clearly they needed to set the scene and show how it got to this point but it felt a bit flat.

Next week is going to be mega though.

Figmentofimagination · 26/02/2021 23:18

I've just finished! I really enjoyed it! That mid credit scene - I knew they knew more than they were letting on. I was always suspicious.

lovecraftcounty · 26/02/2021 23:18

Who left that note in Wanda's car?
I dont think vision would have done that over 5 years ago?

MrsToddsShortcut · 26/02/2021 23:36

Took a bit of mind bending to remind myself that in emotional terms Wanda and Monica have just lost Vision and Maria, but that it is actually 5 years after Vision was killed. so Sword have actually had him for 5 years.

Although, one thing that occurred to me was how Sword recovered him. I had always assumed he was (technically) the property of Stark Industries?

I know that after the snap at the end of Infinity War everyone was in shock, but Cap & Natasha, Bruce, Rhodey, etc were still around, and Tony came back. Did none of them try to recover Vision? I'm probably overthinking this a bit, but I assumed Stark Industries would want to try and hang on to him or would they just be overruled by Sword?

I must admit to being quite weepy at numerous points today. And the most beautiful historical line about grief. I don't want this to end. It has such a strong emotional heart.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 26/02/2021 23:46

It does feel like a set up.
Boss man put the idea in her head that she had the power to bring back vision. I reckon he planted the map/note or is working for someone powerful.

Is his plan to put vision's mind in the new body? Or will we have a baddie ulton version?

Whatsnewpussyhat · 26/02/2021 23:47

They should've hidden vision's body in Wakanda.

captainpantbeard · 27/02/2021 06:41

There’ll be some kind of Vision vs Vision fight
