Please help me name this actor. Driving me bonkers.

Ok. I think he’s Scottish. Over 60. Balding but hair a sandy/ginger/blond sort of colour. Slim, sharp features (I think)
Similar age but not either Bill Paterson or Denis Lawson. I picture him as weary and maybe as an older uniformed police officer. 😩😩😩 Any ideas?

@YesMeLady, I think that list is likely going to be film actors or very well known tv actors. I’m sure this guy is never the leading man but still in lots of stuff.

Not Ken Stott. Not at all heavy set or lived in look like that. More slender/wiry.

No definitely not Charles Dance. Not Jack Shepherd. Not Ian McDiarmid. Not a film actor I don’t think. Likely one episode parts in lots of stuff like, Morse, Lewis, Vera, Marple, Midsomet etc
