Please help me name this actor. Driving me bonkers.

Ok. I think he’s Scottish. Over 60. Balding but hair a sandy/ginger/blond sort of colour. Slim, sharp features (I think)
Similar age but not either Bill Paterson or Denis Lawson. I picture him as weary and maybe as an older uniformed police officer. 😩😩😩 Any ideas?

Could he be Welsh - Mark Lewis Jones - was in Stella, The Crown and Keeping Faith?

I think you’d all know his face but not his name maybe so less well known than a lot of these. I’m sure he’s probably played a GP in Marple or similar.

Tall, balding but sandy colouring. Slim with slender features/pointy nose. Maybe slightly freckly. Plays the refined professional. Often weary or maybe put upon. I vaguely remember a bow tie in one role. But def a bank manager or accountant in something. I’m sure he’s Scottish.
