We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

1990's Poland by the looks of it. Mark and Kate have taken the plunge and gone abroad to buy a baby.

The Hobbs are now in Poland. It strikes you very much of the old Eastern bloc. Not exactly a 5* hotel.

Oh dear, Steve and Shelley have been spotted snogging in a car park. Now her husband is in charge of the next practice jump. Dodgy!!!

"Tart" that's a nice way to refer to an officer. Meanwhile, here's another lady officer. Looks like she's being invited on a date to the parachute base...yes please!!

This must be a scam - Kate and Mark are going to lose their money, for sure. They must be mad.

Shelley's husband has spotted Steve. He warns him off in no uncertain terms.

Major Tim has his eye on Sam Sheridan. Oh we love a good romance! At least it's all under the pretext of a fact finding mission to go and visit the platoon doing their parachute training!

The "go between" for the adoption meets Kate and Mark in some horrible looking bar somewhere in Poland.

Steve is waiting in vain for Shelley, but she doesn't show up. Ah, poor lad, but this will not end well.

I think it was a mate of Shelley's husband that warned Steve off. He was Scottish and her husband isn't. I thought it was him at first too.

Steve spots Shelley and goes to talk to her in the fuselage. She's got a black eye. Wonder who beat her up. I bet it wasn't her husband but that Scottish bloke.

Steve has punched Shelley's husband. I think he's got it wrong.

Shelley's husband has been knocking her around if the bruises on her face are anything to go by.

Steve goes in all guns blazing and beats him up. This is not going to end well for him I fear!

From the way the Scottish man spoke about Shelley, I think they've got history and she's not been telling the truth. It will end in lots of tears.

Sam's skirt is very long!

Sam Sheridan tries to pour oil on troubled waters and talks to Shelley.

Meanwhile in a Polish forest somewhere, Mark and Kate meet the go-between again and he wants the rest of his money. The baby looks so cute in her little snowsuit.

So, there is a baby. I thought they would get scammed. Blimey what are they going to do when they discover she is pregnant. This is really sad, poor woman. Yes, you keep that ring, missus. Ah, how awful.

As expected, the go between creams off the majority of the $6000. Kate feels sorry for the mother and hands over her own engagement ring.

The lads have passed their parachute jumps but Steve has been arrested.
