We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

How are they going to get that baby back to the UK. Even in those days, I think you had to have your child on the passport with you, or didn't they need one at all. I thought they were on a parent's passport. Are they going to smuggle her in somehow?

I've just googled "blue beret" and apart from the United Nations, it is apparently the Army Air Corps who have that honour.

OMG they have hidden her in the car. Wonder if it is a scam and they get caught and the baby is sent back and they lose their money.

I think there's been a certain amount of artistic licence in this part Rhu. I just can't see how it would happen. Did they go out to Poland with a stash of milk formula and nappies?

Steve's court case.

Even when they get back to the UK, they will have great difficulty explaining that baby away with no birth records etc. This is bonkers.

Poor Steve has got 8 weeks detention and has been busted for that attack.

Back in his prison cell, Shelley comes to see him. A woman without many morals really. At least she's going off to Cyprus out of the way.

Shelley is getting divorced and going to Cyprus - hmmm there was a another helicopter pilot out there who caused trouble. The least she could do is to see him again after getting poor Steve put in the slammer. That's a bit disappointing.

Remember poor old Dave Tucker getting a couple of stretches in prison and even Garvey was in there at one point. Not like normal prison though, with all that marching about all the time and being made to scrub their cells, the toilets and halls etc.

You've lost me Rhu about the helicopter pilot in Cyprus. What have I forgotten?

Just read through all your comments from last night. Now I really do remember how this series stretched credibility to a high level. Getting that baby back from Poland would never have been as easy as that. I think by the time Soldier Soldier got to series 6 they'd acquired some writers who took more than a little "artistic" licence as Ilove called it 😳
