We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Kate is very forgiving when Debs confesses about her lies.

The casevac is a bit useless.

Debs is about to confess all.

Kate is such a lovely, forgiving person. Not sure I would want a friend like Debs.

Butcher is making the most of Stacey's attentions!

Lucky Mark gets to go in the helicopter to be with Kate and the baby. Butcher and Para Spiros are practically hurled into the back of the helicopter!

About bloody time - Debs is a bit ashamed of herself.

Kate confesses to Mark that she's pregnant. Now they have to face whatever happens to them. It can't be entirely straightforward. They'll probably have to go through the courts.

Meanwhile, the paras turn up looking for their mate.

Andy is the hero of the hour and the paras have given the platoon the cup in thanks for Andy's heroics.

It looks as if the baby will be ok.

Back in the mess, the lads have won the competition - the first time the Paras have been beaten.

It wasn't a bad episode but the storyline of the baby is beyond ridiculous.

Yes, the baby storyline is stretching credibility. If there isn't any fall out from it then that will be even more unbelievable.

Let's hope there aren't any more outdoor competitions for a while. I never know what is going on.

Yes I'm afraid that whole story line is from cloud cuckoo land. It all started with the urine sample swap. For a start Kate in the 1990s would have been down the chemists hotpot to get a home pregnancy test. More than one probably just to be sure. They were on the market in the UK from the 1970s. (I can vouch for that personally). My daughter's first pregnancy was in 1990 and I know that her and all her friends got home tests. So that made me very sceptical when they trotted out their little bottles for testing 🙄
