Starts tomorrow night on Sky Atlantic with a “fresh” faced Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. It looks good and I love glamorous New York 😃

No one I know is watching :(

It was ok. I found the script like an American book - too many words when fewer would have done. I liked HG but found NK's face a bit off-putting, Why do people do that?

I'll stick with episode 2 then decide if it's worthwhile.

I’m recording to binge watch, cannot be doing with the whole wait a week thing now between episodes, I loose interest.

I love it! Glad it's not all available at once or I'd have finished it in a night. Nicole Kidman looks incredible - her wardrobe, her hair, her skin!

Just watched Ep 2, gripping, loved every minute. But I am quite distracted by Nicole's latex mask face and teeny tiny sculpted nose.

I just can't take my eyes off NK.
She is mesmerising!

Good build up of tension tonight to the "inevitable" towards the end of the episode.

I presume the little girl in the opening credits is meant to be Grace? I wonder what it signifies.

She looks amazing but sorry her acting is stunted because of it. When the police were telling her everything her face didnt move, i kind of felt sorry for her.

Was that it? Only two episodes?

Yes her face is distracting. I think she has had decent work done more recently and looks less puffy than she used to, but it’s still too much. Her only real expression is ‘wide eyed surprise’.

Are her ‘visions’ really flashbacks? Did she do it?!

I am fascinated by Kidman’s cosmetic work. One moment I think the work has made her look much younger than her years but then in another shot all I see is a frozen face that isn’t quite right. Her hair in it is beautiful but I imagine she will have had hair pieces added to give the volume.

I gave in and watched the first two last night, I think it’s really good.

I think Kidman looks great, and her hair is awesome in it, but yes she’s clearly had work done.

I can’t work out if she did it, or Hugh grant did it, or the dead woman’s husband did it, but unless someone else comes out of the woodwork, ie he was having an affair with someone else, maybe the blonde lawyer friend (she’s quite a big part so is important to the story line somewhere), and she did it because she was jealous, and out of revenge, then it was one of those first three. There was clearly a secret relationship between grant and the blonde lawyer for him to go to her.

When Hugh grant suddenly appeared on the decking and put his hand over Kidman’s mouth I properly shit myself, 😂

The father played by Donald Sutherland can't entirely be trusted I feel...
And he told NK to go to the beach house - did he also know HG was going to be there?
Too much of a coincidence?

Yes Sutherland is a big name, so his part could be more than just the father,

I always think the clues are who is in it a lot more than necessary, and who is a really big actor.

So that leaves the blonde lawyer friend and the father, both possibly having a much bigger story line than is yet revealed.

I love this too. It can’t be as simple as HG did it can it? Got to be a more interesting twist.

I thought Nicole was good in first episode (before the murder) in her normal life iyswim, more animated and natural and seemed professional and capable.. As soon as HG went missing and her world started falling apart she’s just gone all .. one dimension “sad” and “wronged” like she was in Big Little Lies.

Hopefully she’ll snap out of it and solve the whole mystery?
