I will always enjoy rewatching David Suchet in Poirot.
BBC Pride & Predjudice, North & South, Wives & Daughters.

Frasier - but even as a rabid fan, I must admit that some of the later series were a bit weak. Although the episode with Patrick Stewart in the very last series was an absolute classic.

Upstairs Downstairs. Also Tenko. I dont suppose anyone will remember Bluebell about a dancetroupe. Thst was very good. They've never rerun it. And Nanny with Wendy Craig.

So hard! I think if I had to choose one to watch for the rest of my life I'd go for Anne of Green Gables... or North & South.

Most addictive though/ enjoyed at the time; probably The Bridge or Line of Duty. Agree that some series of Taskmaster have been amazing.

Shit I've never watched The Wire... will have to.

Six Feet Under

House

I came on to say Six Feet Under. I love a lot of those powerhouse HBO type things (West Wing, Sopranos etc) but SFU has really stuck with me. Brilliant casting and acting across the board. So complex, grown-up, funny, frightening, sad, infuriating...

Also have a special place in my heart for ER. Changed the medical drama completely. The early series were dynamite.

I have to mention Giri-Haji too, because it was under-watched and underappreciated but was beautiful, original, sad, joyous, surprising… absolutely amazing.
