Watched last night episode. And me and DH said Cheryl really carried herself well. If that was a. Episode of towie etc she'd have lost her shit, ranted and raved and chucked at least a drink at him. she did well I thought, I would never have kept so calm.

Also we want these 'experts' to step in and say enough is enough and send people packing. Michelle stringing Jesse on is just cruel. Although he must be an absolute glutton for punishment for wanting to stay. They aren't just on separate pages they are on completely different books. I wonder what goes on behind closed doors for him to be get the impression and that he wants her to be the mum of his kids but her just not feeling anything. And by sticking around another week what is she really expecting to happen? Just face it, you don't see him as anything more than a friend. You can't force it.

As for Susan and sean. On the first episode when they were explaining her job it said although she lives in the city she has to fly in and live near the mines for the majority of the week for work before flying back home. I don't see that working being in the arse end of no where even if it is with the man of your dreams. Or maybe it could if your only really on the farm a few days a week before jetting off to work. Who knows.

Perhaps I didn’t remember correctly, but I thought Susan said when she got home after being at work she felt a bit lonely as all her friends were settled etc. I also thought after the ceremony he asked her what she did she replied that she drove a truck in the mines and he said something like so do I. (I remember thinking eh! I thought you were on a farm)

@Honeyroar yes she did say she was a truck driver in the mines and he said he works in mining too or something like that and like you i too thought hang on I thought you were a farmer/ horse breeder or something like that.

Jesse needs a good clip round the ears. Ive not seen yesterdays one yet as I knew what was coming and I can’t afford to buy a new tv if I throw something at it from getting pissed off by Abandrew and spoony so I’m mentally gearing myself up to watch it, lol.

but I mean come on she’s basically said on a couple occasions now that he is not the one. She is horrible for dragging it out and stringing him along for her own selfish gains but she’s also said “he will make someone else’s happy” she just left out the “but it won’t be me” part. When she said it he looked at her like WTF so he knows she’s not into him, I just don’t know you would want to continue to be around someone that you know doesn’t want you. Even his family have cottoned on to her game. I think he’s so into how beautiful she is ( his words not mine) that he’s not thinking about all the other important aspects, one of them being the person has to be interested in you too!

Yes, that’s it he is listening but not hearing. Work harder at what? As you say you can’t make someone fall in love with you. I actually feel really sorry for him, which I initially disliked him but to be used in such a cold hearted way is uncalled for and hopefully his family rallied around him after this mess of a show ended.

Is the final vow renewal a real wedding? If not, then I think the twins, Nick, Jesse and Susan are just treating this like dating but with a nice rent-free apartment thrown in and daily expenses being paid.
One of Susan's friends mentioned having children and I did think if Susan was considering children then her entire life is going to change anyway. There's not as much time for carefree coffees if you're flying back and forwards to mines, juggling childcare, etc.

I was watching the USA gogglebox and they showed a clip what I can only assume is the latest MAFS Australia. It seemed just as ridiculous as this one to the point even the Americans were saying it was crazy. Needless to say I will not be watching it as for some odd reason the Australian one seems to be about who they can humiliate rather than about single people finding love.

My mum in Australia said the series after this one started getting so ridiculous as to be unwatchable

I gave up on the next series halfway through, far too staged.

The not so evil twin is just 'putting up' with poor Jessie so she can finish the show with her sister, I don't think she could bear her carrying in without her!!

SpanishFly out of interest are you in the UK? Or does your username provide a clue? My dad was an Antony, without the 'h', but the spelling including the h is seemingly the more popular version yet the only AnTHonys I've known to pronounce the TH have been American. And Spoonface of course.

I know! I wondered if Anthony (or anyone else!) actually understands what ‘frigid’ means?! I think he was using it to refer to her not showing him much affection eg kisses and cuddles, and no one else was like ‘sorry, are you trying to publicly and perjoratively state that Nadia has physical or mental problems with sex’, so I assume they all took it to mean she’s undemonstrative?! Either way it’s a nasty misogynistic word so there should’ve been a few tuts at least.

I'm English, English parents DB is Anthony pronounced TH child of the early 70s.

I guess names change over time with fashion. They give me the American spelling of my name 🙄 spend my life having to correct it although not as much these days thankfully!
