Anyone watching? The Sydney couple are never going to last. She’s so annoying, surely just on it to get on tv??

Have their ever been a couple from these shows that have stayed married?

Vanessa and Simon

Then maybe:

Anthony and Michelle

I think Michelle wouldn't put up with the crap and may actually bring out the best in Anthony.

Abandew and Sharon

I love Alene too much to subject her to awful, awful Abandrew.

Vanessa is lovely but would have been nice to see Army Andrew with someone who totally makes him light up.

Anthony is an abuser or potential abuser. It is quite scary watching him.

I am not a fan of Abandrew. Someone up thread mentioned that there were rumours that Lauren left because of the way that he behaved towards a bouncer on their wedding night. At the meal when he and Cheryl returned he said something like he was talking to the bouncer and trying to get them into the club, he looked around and she was gone. I reckon he might have a bit of a temper.

@BedknobsNoBroomsticks I noticed that too and wondered the same thing, but I thought surely it would’ve been brought up in the chat. There was still no reason for her not to answer the phone and tell him. All she had to say was I saw how you behaved and didn’t want to be with someone like that.

I think for whatever reason the show made it look like Lauren was at fault. I wouldn't be surprised if the producers knew where she was and what happened. They then filmed scenes of him sitting in bed and ringing her (we have no way of knowing who he is texting or ringing). Are they going to own up to having a man who has a temper on the show and potentially putting a young mum in a difficult position? I think more happened on that night than him and the show let on. Maybe the show wanted him to stay more cos they'd already worked up the Cheryl storyline and knew her hunger to be on TV (hence why they also tried to hide her texts about Nick). I also think that now Cheryl didnt kiss him, we will see his mask slip.

I have read some spoilers so I won't spoil the thread but what I will say it's interesting to read some of the participants view on how they were treated by the show and how the show was edited .

No don’t give the spoilers. But yes I bet it’s very interesting.

I don't like abAndrew. So.ething about him is creepy, and his song was craptastic. I actually liked Lauren the runaway bride and think she was far too nice for him!
Havent seen all of last night's yet (damn you work-you get in the way of my fun!) but I am loving this series.

I felt so emotional when Simon spoke about his dad. His grief was so raw. He said in the first episode that his dad died in an accident at work. Industrial accidents are tragic and shocking for the family. No wonder he is still struggling.

Anthony is an absolute horror! I'd have kicked his arrogant, smug, china doll face to the kerb when he laid into Cheryl. Judging Nadia for having flatmates and telling her he will let her know when he needs to be fed.........THE RAGE!!!!

Also think 'Jonesy' is creepy but don't know why.

Yes I agree, Jonesy has a really creepy vibe to him. When Cheryl pulled away and said she didnt want to kiss him, it was the first time I saw anything genuine about her. And his song....cringe!!

Her dad looks a right plonker in the "next time" bit

Cheryl’s dad - WTF? Cheryl should have put her foot down and said Abandrew was dressed fine as he was and if Dad couldn’t be courteous to her guest then they would go and spend the day elsewhere.

The show was already a bit daft but now it's getting silly. So many unlikable people on this show

I have googled Anthony and Nadia and I really want to put in my two pence worth but I won't as it will be a spoiler. Think it finishes next week.

Anthony just gets worse (her attention wasn’t on me, eeuuggh) and WTF was with Cheryl’s Dad’s utterly peculiar behaviour. Unless in some twisted behind the scenes way she’d contacted him to do it, to put Andrew off....

I hate the OTT stuff that’s clearly scripted, like Cheryl’s dad being a total knob. He’s obviously hamming it up for the cameras.

Did anyone else find Jesse quite hot with his tan and little thong... just me...?! Very telling that Michelle was attracted to him when he was in a mood with her. She’s clearly still in the whole ‘change a bad boy’ phase.

I found it interesting that several of the women were dragging their husbands along to boring stereotypical girly activities. I wouldn’t have dreamed of forcing my DH to watch me try on a million outfits, or go table shopping a few weeks in. How dull and selfish. No wonder some of them are still single. Nadia’s life seems to consist of eating huge MN-style salads and trying on clothes that reveal 3/4 of her boobs. I haven’t heard her say one insightful or witty thing yet. China Doll is a horror but AFAIC Nadia isn’t exactly a prize catch. That swimming pool story would’ve seen me diving in with rocks in my pockets just to escape the fist-eating dullness!!

Vanessa is looking for something that isn’t there with Andy. He’s a straight up guy with no agenda, but also no real hidden depths. If she ain’t happy with how he’s presenting right now, she needs to finish it, as I’m fairly sure that’s all she’s getting. No wonder he’s feeling hurt - she’s basically told him he’s got no personality 😬

Oh yeah , Nadia is dull as dishwater

Not sure if you've heard the saying - Nick has only said it a million times "happy wife, happy life!" Making my teeth itch, is unbearable to hear

Nadia is stunning to look at but, omg, she's soooooo boring. in fact, she's also becoming less physically attractive as a result.
Anthony is nuts. But I do think a lot of it is being edited to amplify that side of him. Eg why the hell would she expect him to enjoy tagging along to an insta photoshoot? I'd have been bored too. And when she said something was "speccy" he proper chuckled - it was a flash of the more normal side of him.
Cheryl's dad was a total penis. There is just no need to be a prick to someone you've never met and know nothing about.
I can't understand why Shaz is so into Nick. I find him very unattractive for a few reasons. The earrings are enough to make me squeamish. Michelle wanted him when she first saw the grooms; and cheryl said he should have been matched with her. What is the attraction??!

Jesse is much cuter and much more likeable.

As an aside, it's interesting how I couldnt tell the twins apart at first, but can now. They seemed completely interchangeable to begin with.

Can anyone tell me who shaz reminds me of? Theres a facial expression or mannerism that keeps reminding me of someone, and I cant put my finger on it
