Agree with everything PP have said about last night’s episode... Susan came off a bit vapid IMO, going on about having endless hours in the day to drink and dine al fresco with friends, and kind of turning her nose up at Sean’s lifestyle. I get it, it’s not for her (I’m a total town mouse myself!), but I have nothing but admiration for anyone who can dedicate themselves to a physically demanding job and do it with such passion. It seemed like Sean felt that he should be the one to change despite not being the one physically moving. YY to thinking of them as some sort of ‘later in life’ romance 😂 I’m a few years older than both of them and that’s not how I would’ve described meeting my DH five years ago 😂
Simon is overwhelmed by the female attention he’s getting for possibly the first time in his life. I think he has massive self esteem issues from his epilepsy and is also grieving. He’s clearly missing his terrible hair to hide behind too 😆 I think he’s not feeling it with Alene and is kicking himself for it. I love Alene and still think she would’ve been best with Abandrew, he’s cheesy and sweet and funny and so is she.
Meanwhile he’s putting the unwanted pash on big bird Chezza, and she’s scrabbling around for the ejector seat button 🤣 I doubt she realised the level of sociopathy required to successfully portray a showmance for more than a couple of episodes. I don’t think she’s a horrible person, but definitely only after the fame.
Michelle as demanding-yet-dull as ever, poor old Jesse trying to give it the big ‘un down the fruit n veg market. That was never going to impress a woman who expects treats and presents despite having no romantic interest in her partner whatsoever. Like Susan, Michelle shows no respect or admiration for a man trying to make something of himself with a good job and saving for his own home.
Why did everyone keep calling Nick, Nick Furthy (Fir Tree? Furry Teeth?!!). He even referred to himself that way (instant red card). He’s not Chris freakin Hemsworth! Dial it down mate.
Nadia and Angrony/Twatony/Spoonhead was predictable. Less predictable; the soulless little bedsit he lived in! I was quite surprised. Sydney prices I guess. Still, no excuse for the ornamental ‘A’ propped on the stairwell... if only I could think of a word that best describes Anthony beginning with A...
