Anyone watching? The Sydney couple are never going to last. She’s so annoying, surely just on it to get on tv??

Have their ever been a couple from these shows that have stayed married?

I disliked Anthony when he said that Maria’s lack
of focus could be a problem while he was getting his hair cut. Then the mist recent episode, I thought he was AWFUL! A controlling, cold, opinionated bully. He doesn’t deserve Nadia. I was delighted she stood up to him though.
The twins are bullies too. They and Anthony made that poor girl cry. Regardless what has happened - maybe we haven’t seen stuff involving Cheryl- it is no one’s business who she romances and where. There are loads of egos.
I have only just found this thread and haven’t read through it...but Debbie reminded me of the woman on the British version who didn’t want to be married to her husband then went in a mood when he left divorce papers for her.

Oh God this show is strangely addictive isn,t it,it's appallingly fabulous .

Am loving this trash. Anthony is vile...and at the beginning the experts were saying he had such a high degree of emotional intelligence and loved women through being brought up by a single mum. Loadsa bollocks!
Agree there is something odd about how revered Jonesy is. Really strange how noone suggested he shouldn't be there either cos his marriage failed.

Do they all love Jonesy because he is the eldest male? So they're all look at him as their leader? As they're all living in this weird commune it would be interesting to have some experts on that talk not just about the romantic relationships but those between the group. The alliances and friends that are made- and not made. I think its interesting how Nick and Jesse get on so well, imagine if one of them was Anthony he'd really turn it into a competition of twin vs twin.

I feel sorry for Abandfew. I thought his wife seemed nice and saw a definite spark between them. She must have got a fright.

I'm watching it slightly behind, I'm getting really annoyed that Anthony is getting called out, but no-one is mentioning the twins (especially Sharon's) behaviour

Andrew doesnt do much to stand up for Cheryl though.

Well this episode was pretty dull - at least one of them could have spiced it up and written leave, I really though one of the twins would, maybe even both. Nadia also could have put her twat of a husband back in his box properly by writing leave.

It annoyed me too that Anthony got pulled up about his behaviour towards Cheryl but the twins didn't and one of them was definitely just as vile (I still don't know their names but you know the one I mean).

Can't wait till tomorrow.

I think the whole reaction to Cheryl and Abandrew not being married was a bit ridiculous considering none of them are legally married and it's all just a gameshow ,I really don't like the twins I find them a bit up themselves and I think both of them consider themselves to good for their " Husbands"?

Nick and Jesse were friends before the show I think.

Didn’t learn anything new this episode.

One twin - the one married to the tall guy with small teeth - was bitchy to Cheryl. It was like her nose was out of joint by someone younger and glam. She behaved like a teenager at school. But Anthony is cold and could be controlling I think. He gives me the creeps.

It was kind of insinuated that there were others involved in the attack, but only Anthony actually got mentioned. He was interesting to watch while criticised, he didn’t blush at all. I thought he was going to defend himself rather than apologise.

Yes I thought there’d be a couple of dithers. I thought the twin with the farmer who goes to strip clubs would say no, even the other twin. But they’re in it for the tv and game, just like Anthony. I wonder if Anthony actually likes Nadia, I think he’ll pretend anything until the series is over!

I think Abandrew is a bit wet actually and led by whoever he’s around. I think he just agrees with Cheryl, when he was talking to the twins he just agreed with them. He doesn’t actually give much of himself away. I don’t think he’d be remotely strong enough for Cheryl really.

Do the couples speak to their families whilst on the show?

Anyone else think the way they open the note book to reveal 'stay' pretty crap. At least other sgies it's pretty obvious they got a rise or whatever but with this one we're all meant to react bit really can see nothing written on the paper!

I think during Textgate (Jonathan and Scarlett) the commentary said the participants weren’t supposed to be communicating by phone with people outside their “marriage”. Or something like that.

An interesting comment at the start of the episode. It was a recap of the dinner party, but showed something that I dont think they showed last night? Sharon said to cheryl that she had seen messages in which cheryl told someone that she should have been matched with Nick. So clearly sharon feels threatened. plus that's prob why they questioned her motives.

Whilst Anthony got it in the neck a bit for his shittybehaviour at the dinner party. I felt the ‘Jonesy’ adoring twins were let off the hook a bit tonight.
They were awful.

@SpanishFly iirc at the twins’ “marriage” ceremony one of Nick and Jesse was already there and then the other one walked in and recognised and hugged him and in the voiceover said that they already knew each other well.

Ok just watched it back in the name of research and accuracy. Jesse is waiting at the altar and Nick walks in and they clearly know each other BUT it may just be from the stag night.

@Egghead68 I had thought it was just from the stag do that they knew each other. Annoying that we cant google to check, in case we see spoilers 😅
