I keep finding stuff that’s ok but not that memorable.

Can be anything - comedy/drama/thriller. Open to subtitles.

Thanks!

I'm just binge watching Damages but we're really enjoying The Hunters on Amazon and Defending Jacob on Apple

4catsand1dog · 04/06/2020 20:42

Now They See Us on Netflix. Absolutely heartbreaking and brilliant.

PorpentiaScamander · 04/06/2020 20:43

The Upload on Amazon was funny. Not sure it 'blew me away' but I really enjoyed it.

4catsand1dog · 04/06/2020 20:44

*When They See Us

bert3400 · 04/06/2020 20:45

Unorthodox on Netflix, only 4 episodes but it was fascinating

hillsandvalleys · 04/06/2020 20:47

Little fires everywhere on Amazon prime. It was simply incredible, so emotive and thought provoking.
Comedy wise, Crashing on all 4 was laugh out loud funny

hillsandvalleys · 04/06/2020 20:48

And Caliphate on Netflix was deep.... so so deep

userxx · 04/06/2020 20:49

I'm watching criminal justice with Maxine Peake on iPlayer. It's very good.

userxx · 04/06/2020 20:50

@hillsandvalleys That's on my to watch list on Netflix.

Autumnchill · 04/06/2020 20:53

Little Fires was great and the way it comes full circle was excellent

Groundhogdayzz · 04/06/2020 20:55

Second Unorthodox.

Janek · 04/06/2020 20:57

Third Unorthodox - I never knew people lived like that still, I couldn't stop thinking about it.

LunaHardy · 04/06/2020 20:58

When They See Us
Time: The Kalief Browder story.

Both on Netflix. Both heartbreaking and eye opening but brilliant.

FTMF30 · 04/06/2020 21:01

I second The Kalief Browder story but it left me feeling really low for days. So much so that I could only watch 2 episodes of Now They See Us. It left knots in my stomach.

FTMF30 · 04/06/2020 21:01

*When They See Us 🙄

Sharpandshineyteeth · 04/06/2020 21:03

Gameface on channel four. It’s a lesser known comedy gem.

HarrietOh · 04/06/2020 21:06

Unorthodox was the last thing I watched like that.
Also Unbelieveable... I couldn’t stop watching that!

LovingLen · 04/06/2020 21:08

Defending Jacob on Apple and Little fires everywhere on Amazon

This is us season 4 is on Amazon from tomorrow and I know that will blow me away so adding that in too

LunaHardy · 04/06/2020 21:28

@FTMF30 I watched When They See Us on the plane to New York last year, I cried all the way there! Then when we got there I walked round Central Park feeling really sad! Really got to me. Same with the Kalief Browder series, but feel it's really important to watch.

Hermie12 · 04/06/2020 21:32

How to get away with murder and just watching Ozarks

DeathMetalMum · 04/06/2020 21:35

Giri/Haji
Netflix
Japanese crime/drama few subtitles but I really enjoyed it.

TheGoldenNugget · 04/06/2020 21:35

The trials of Gabriel Fernandez. Couldn't stop thinking about him 😢 It's on Netflix

Beachcomber1 · 04/06/2020 21:36

French series called Inhuman Resources starring Eric Cantona- he’s a really good actor!

Thriller/drama.

MamaLion1319 · 04/06/2020 21:37

The Cry & The Nest on bbc

Bluntness100 · 04/06/2020 21:37

Money heist.

And unorthodox is surprisingly good.
