I think Mitch and Karen have a deep long-standing love.

Optimist1 · 07/04/2020 11:55

I think Mitch is aware that life without Karen would involve him in a lot more hard work than at present!

PinkDaydreams · 07/04/2020 13:32

@Optimist1 very true! She does so much for him, he’ll be stuck if/when she moves from the square. I don’t think she will go though although I don’t know how that’s going to work with the baby and Sharon not wanting to see him or be around him at all.

PinkDaydreams · 08/04/2020 07:24

Ian didn’t look happy last night at Sharon having put some make up on and seeing Phil!

SoupDragon · 08/04/2020 07:46

What did Sharon do with the phone she hooked out of Ian's bin?

PinkDaydreams · 08/04/2020 08:11

Oh I didn’t see Sharon take it out of the bin! Would it be salvageable? If not, she would think it strange anyway for Ian to break a phone, she’d know he was hiding something.
What’s everyone’s thought on Sharon and Phil, do you think they will get back together?

Optimist1 · 08/04/2020 08:48

Yes, I think Sharon and Phil will reconcile. I'm taking Sharon's return to personal grooming as a sign!

Is Karen in touch with Keanu at all? He really should know about his baby, and be given a chance to be part of his life. I definitely don't want Karen to go though - she's going to have a lot of mothering to do once Chantelle escapes from Gray.

SoupDragon · 08/04/2020 08:58

Sharon threw he food in the bin, saw the phone and picked it out.

I know Ian deleted the message but it is probably retrievable with a replacement SIM and a different phone. I don't think voicemails are stored on the phone.

theschoolonthehill · 08/04/2020 09:15

The phone is probably not broken, Ian stamped on it. No doubt she will produce it in front of Dottie or Bobby who will say oh I know who owns it. They always throw the things they are trying to hide into the kitchen bin. The amount of pregnancy tests, letters, airline tickets that have been retrieved from the bins is incredible 😀

Mrsjayy · 08/04/2020 09:18

Ian didn’t look happy last night at Sharon having put some make up on and seeing Phil!

He likes her being all sad and dependant he is such a creep when you think about it. Karen won't leave something will happen and Sharon will take back the baby or "Share" him with Karen.

SoupDragon · 08/04/2020 09:19

😂 He didn't even shove it to the bottom of the bin!

APatchyTomCat · 08/04/2020 10:23

I think Sharon just plopped it back in the bin

The80sweregreat · 08/04/2020 10:56

Ian will end up murdering Dotty at this rate!

PinkDaydreams · 08/04/2020 12:30

Oh I can see dotty getting with Bobby just to annoy Ian. Then poor Bobby will end up heartbroken :(

The80sweregreat · 08/04/2020 13:50

Why would peace loving Bobby like a tearaway like her?
Nothing much in common now Bobby is all nice and trying to be a better person etc.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/04/2020 14:16

Where was kayden - karen in pub

And yes he only wants Karen’s to stay or go with her so he doesn’t have to look after his child imo

What a fantastic episode Hmm

Optimist1 · 13/04/2020 22:14

Sorry to say, I'm finding the Keagan discrimination plot a bit wearing now. There were plenty of brown faces at the party, but still the police homed in on Keagan?

Whitney really isn't the sharpest tool in the box, is she? Engaging with the grieving mother of the man who terrified her for weeks was never going to end with anyone feeling better.

Is it right that there's only one more episode for us to watch now? They better make it a bit better than tonight's or I might never come back to EE once the world's back to normal.

augustusglupe · 13/04/2020 23:09

Optimist1 Yes it all seemed so staged with the Keegan arrest.
And Whitney Confused
Maybe a break is what the show needs.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2020 06:57

Yes talking to mum wasn’t going to help and surely Whitney was told not to speak to anyone about the case

Kegan getting boring. They wandered across the square in front of police car yet he still gets blamed

Why does the eldest wear a turban but the younger brothers don’t

PinkDaydreams · 14/04/2020 07:59

Well that was a wishy washy episode, very disappointing

SoupDragon · 14/04/2020 10:34

I enjoyed it. I think it was one of the "filler" episodes where they nudge along some of the stories that have been on the back burner or introduce new ones. Kush and Tommy bonding over his school problems, Whit and Grey the Hero, Tiff and Keegan and Ted's flat... presumably T&K are going to get evicted at the same point Keegan's racism storyline comes to a head.

SoupDragon · 14/04/2020 10:36

And I did snort out loud when Mo told Tommy not to shut Cherry on the cupboard again - they have SO been reading our comments about the missing children and the kiddie cupboard 😂😂

SoupDragon · 14/04/2020 10:38

The police homed in on Keegan because he ran.

southeastdweller · 14/04/2020 19:55

So bored already with this Keegan story.
