It was when M&L were having their heart to heart and Linda was saying she had always been around alcohol

lazymum99 · 02/04/2020 09:20

Thanks. I must have zoned out.
I did notice some incredibly bad filming/continuity. When mick and Linda were lying on the bed with Olly and mick was telling him a story. Suddenly they were on different sides of the bed. Did anyone else notice?

SoupDragon · 02/04/2020 09:24

There were some shots that were viewed in the mirror that confused me.

Mrsjayy · 02/04/2020 10:12

Mirror shots are to complicated I can't work them out either Blush

lazymum99 · 02/04/2020 10:47

Some junior camera person must have got carried away

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/04/2020 14:58

Linda needs do leave the pub. Having booze all around doesn’t help

Tho an alcoholic will always find a will to have a
Drink if they want one

Shame they didn’t spread ee out. So one mon
And one Thur or Fri

Tuesday and Thursday are surely the natural home for EastEnders? The long drought in between the beginning of one week and the next is unnatural.

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/04/2020 22:27

Yes originally it was tue Thur

I remember when it was Tues and Thurs too. I suppose the majority of people don't watch it when it is being broadcast on tv anymore and can put it on whenever suits them. I don't think I have watched any programme other than the news headlines at the time it is actually on tv.

What are we going to do when it is no longer on tv at all? They have maybe eight episodes left. We will be lucky if normal life resumes before September. Maybe they will run classic EE in the normal EE time slots? I know it is already on earlier in the day but it would be better than nothing.

SoupDragon · 03/04/2020 07:33

I do try to save Tuesday's episode for Thursday as there's nothing I want to watch on a Thursday before 9.

The80sweregreat · 03/04/2020 09:05

Tuesday and Thursday is a better idea really.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 03/04/2020 10:11

I am with you all the way on Tuesdays and Thursdays being the traditional Eastenders nights.

How many more episodes do you think we have left to watch before the storylines grind to a halt? Ten?

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/04/2020 20:11

Actress who played abi is in s2 e5 London kills

It’s a good drama if anyone fancies something to watch while ee is absent

On iPlayer

@Blondeshavemorefun - yes, I saw her in London Kills. Did you spot Michael Moon in it too?

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/04/2020 23:09

Yes was on yesterday and today’s episode

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2020 15:02

Yah. Tonight

OP posts:
littlealexhorne · 06/04/2020 21:34

I'm not sure if we just weren't paying enough attention tonight but I swear Ian took the phone out of Dotty's bag just before she woke up, kicked her out, then listened to the voicemail and stamped on the phone in his kitchen before Sharon knocked? Or did both of us here zone out during an Archers scene of him breaking in?

SoupDragon · 06/04/2020 22:59

Ian put the keys for the Arches back in Dotty's bag. He took them last episode to go steal the phone.

SoupDragon · 06/04/2020 22:59

We never saw him in the Arches though.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2020 23:49

I’m more suprised by shazza AND PHIL kiss

Will they buy and run the pub together

Come on scriptwriters - you can take my idea for when filming restarts 😂😂

OP posts:
littlealexhorne · 07/04/2020 00:00

Ah ok thank you, I clearly need to start paying more attention!

iknowimcoming · 07/04/2020 09:24

I can't see mock and L leaving the vic really - unless the characters are leaving there would nothing else for them to do in the square (and it's not like anyone can get a job outside the square except for the weird Lauren and Max Canary Wharf debacle) Grin

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 07/04/2020 10:00

Didn't surprise me that Mitch declared his love for Karen. I think it's been obvious all along and to be honest she fits better with him than Billy.

PinkDaydreams · 07/04/2020 10:45

Is Mitch genuinely in love with Karen or has he told her because he feels jealous of her being with Billy and doesn’t want anyone else with her?

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 07/04/2020 11:17

Difficult one @PinkDaydreams - they have clearly got long on-off-on-off 'history'. What's the age difference between Chantelle and Keegan - five years?
