Anyone else looking forward to it?

Finally got round to watching it tonight and really enjoyed it, such good acting, Alan and Celia close again, Gillian and Caroline at the disco. Yes, the Harrison story was far fetched but it was beautifully acted. Going to save it and watch it again when I need a bit of escapism.

I want to go to Hebden’s Women’s Disco.

I've just finished watching all series right from the start as I hadn't heard of it before the new series was being shown.

I absolutely loved it all and really enjoyed this series and thought that the ending was lovely.

It came full circle and gave us a glimpse of their lives 5 years on and loved that it was all the same actors as from the first season. It would be great if they did make another series but equally it's a nice end if that's is the last ever episode.

Thank god everyone else finds this season dull too

This series is brilliant. I’ve been binge watching it since the lockdown started and it’s been a lovely diversion. I know the plot can be daft but I love the humour and the dialogue is very realistic. Credit to the actors, they’re all superb, I fee like I know the characters! Can’t beat British drama!

I don’t know how I managed to miss the fact season 5 has been on!! Anyone know where I can watch this, I’m in Ireland so BBC iPlayer isn’t available and can’t use a VPN to get around this right now either. Any other ideas?

Although I was never a real fan of Celia even from the start
And I think certain characters seem to forgive other certain characters quite easily for things
